I brought our 4 dogs in to be groomed. They were to be groomed on 2/25 from 8:00am to Noon. When I brought them in ******* stated that 2 of the dogs were matted and needed to be shaved. By the time I was able to tell my husband and call her back to her to tell her that I would just come to pick them up , less than 15 minutes, she told me that the 2 had already been shaved and one was wet in the tub. I obviously could not change what she had done and did not want to take my dogs home wet so I decided to just come back at noon as scheduled. When I went back at noon she told me that the amount was $600. To totally shave 2 dogs one that weighs 50lbs and a very small dog that weighs 10lbs, groom one that weighs 40 lbs and one that weighs 30lbs. I have NEVER paid more than $100 for the 3 larger and $50 for the smallest. When I asked her why the large amount since they were there for the agreed amount of time and the shaving took less time than grooming, she told me for "What you put me through today". So she charged me for wanting to not have them shaved and wanting to pick them up. Her version of pain and suffering. I told her that I would not sign the raciest for $600 that she charged me and she said that she would then call the police. I agree to pay the $400 for the usual charge but the extra $200 was not an ethical charge. I asked her for a copy of the receipt but she did not give a copy to me. I have sent her a text message asking her to Please send me a copy of the receipt and still have not received one.
