I have used Holland once on June 15th, 19th, 29th 2020 for a pre bought service on furnace and air conditioner. When the air conditioner was serviced issues resulted and It took three more service calls to fix it. On 12/09/2020 my furnace was serviced I was told I would need a pressure switch($35.00) was charged ****** to replace. This year I bought the service bundle ($279.00). Furnace was serviced on 10/23/2023 when the technician removed the covers to the furnace we both saw a small leak at the bottom of the collection box and the draft inducer motor. Technician stated he would find out how much it would cost to fix it and continued with regular service. I was told that repairing the leak should be done that it could travel down to control board and short it out. He said the cost would be approximately $640.00 not wanting it to short out the control board I agreed but asked why so expensive, I was told he has to remove a lot of things in order to remove it. I watched the technician and seen he had to remove approximately 20 screws and loosen a vent pipe to remove it, he then cleaned around the edge of the collector box placed some fire ******ant caulk in place of a gasket because he didnt have a replacement gasket for it. This all took approximately 45 minutes, no new parts were used. The invoice states main combustion drainage system refurbished nothing was refurbished just the use of caulk. I feel the charge was greatly overstated I should of been charged for labor only.
