This company is a disgrace. I'm ************************************************************************************ 2010 following an amicable divorce from my husband, a now-retired **** employee. The Domestic Relations Order (***) had to be Qualified by ****'s fiduciary, which was then Fidelity. It was accepted and qualified by Fidelity, resulting in a Qualified Domestic Relations Order (Q***). Both my ex and I received the same letter from Fidelity stating that the *** was qualified by Fidelity, and the letter specifically outlined my monthly payment terms, which were exactly as spelled out in the Q*** and court judgment.Three days ago, out of the blue, my **** pension was reduced by over $120 per month. A Q*** is a mandatory court order. A pension administrator is a fiduciary bound by law to abide by a court order. I called NESC because all calls to the **** Benefit Center are administered by them. I waited on hold for over two hours to speak to an agent, who told me she had to transfer me to the correct department and then, after several transfer attempts, said that no one was available. She said she could set up an appointment for someone to call me back in January. What a joke. I insisted on speaking with someone and waited another two hours for a call back, only to be told that someone else would have to call me back. The next day, another agent called and told me that my pension was audited and that I had overpaid over $36,000 since 2010, so my payments were being reduced. I was told that a letter dated Nov. 28 was mailed to me. (I still haven't received the letter.) Again, no one can arbitrarily change the payment terms of a Q***. It's against the law. I asked for an emailed copy of the letter and still haven't received it. Through the **** retiree portal, I uploaded a copy of Fidelity's qualification letter, which outlined my payment terms--which are exactly what I've been receiving. Still no answer from NESC. I'm now speaking with my attorney.
