  Thank you for the opportunity to file a complaint. I used this service last year and was not happy with their service. They are a fertilizing company and I noted many areas which were burned by over fertilizing and killed the native grass allowing invasive species to start growing, They continued to apply fertilizer this year without my consent or approval and then had the audacity to request compensation for their mistake. They have since put the charge with a debt collection agency.

  Responding to ********************* complaint,  Our services are continuous from year to year. When *********** signed up last year his original proposal stated Once you are scheduled, all services auto renew each year. You can change or cancel your services at any time.  *********** never called to cancel. Every invoice we left at his house last year, which was 6 services, stated on them services continue from season to season, for a change in service call our office. This January we sent him his yearly schedule which is the same services he had last yr, with prepaid total if he wanted to prepay or pay monthly. It also stated on it in big bold letters YOUR SERVICE WILL BEGIN AUTOMATICALLY UNLESS YOU CALL TO CANCEL. Then again in March we sent him a letter stating we will be starting your service the middle of April.  He did not ever cancel, that's why we started his service.  As to him not being happy with our service, he never once called in to complain about anything or we would have had a service manager come out to ***** the problem. I did see that when our applicator came out in September for his application he noted on his invoice that his lawn had a problem with Chinch Bugs, call office for treatment.  He never called for that treatment, thats why he had ***** spots not from us burning it.  We try to keep our customers satisfied we are a family owned business with over 50yrs experience.  If someone wants to cancel the service at any time all they have to do is call and cancel.

  The job was not finished and my front lawn was destroyed. I then got hit with a collection account which impacted my score significantly, which eventually costed me thousands on another transaction. This is unethical, fraudulent and deceptive.

  Dear Sirs,  We serviced ****************** lawn 3 times last year,  3/22/22 crabgrass & fertilizer, 5/1/22 weed killer & fertilizer & 6/7/22 weed killer & fertilizer. He had a plug aeration scheduled but when we came out to do it he stopped us & said he didnt want it done & we did not charge him.  The **** he owed for was done on 6/7.  He never  cancelled the service or complained about the service till now.  He never paid his **** after many attempts to collect. After months of not paying & not calling us,  It was sent to collections.

  I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of why I am rejecting this response ...The job was not finished. The backyard was not complete and when I called in, the manager requested video footage that the job wasn't complete. Shortly after, the front lawn was burned out. (Possibly fron overtreatment). I eventually had to re sod the front lawn which costed me over $4,000.
