            ****was investigated by the ** Senate for selling Focus' despite knowing they were prone to randomly slipping into neutral and starting unevenly. That means the cars, equipped with a dual-clutch transmission that **** called the DPS6, can lose acceleration at times, includingon freeways, and have unexpectedly bolted forward. Both, according to consumer complaints, have caused accidents and injuries.My 2014 Focus had transmission shuttering prior to 2017, and a new clutch was put in. This year the transmission shuttering has gotten worse and I called Village Ford and was told it would take 5-6 weeks to make an appointment. I made the appointment and today when I was going to drop off the car, was told I would have to leave my car at the dealership for at least two weeks before it could be diagnosed for repair. I was told I could not just bring my car in two weeks, but it had to physically sit in their lot waiting to be diagnosed. All I ask is if I bring in my car to Village Ford or any other **** dealership, that it be diagnosed that day or provide a rental car for the two weeks it will be sitting in the Village Ford lots. I have contacted **** Corporate offices and they provided no resolution.

            My name is ***************************** and I took my vehicle into Village Ford in ********, ******** on July 16, 2024 for an oil leak. The dealership had my vehicle for 28 days. They stated that the technician was on vacation for two weeks and they didnt call to tell me to pick up my vehicle because it was torn apart? I was told when I picked my vehicle up on Monday on August 12, 2024 that they replaced a vacuum pump? I said why when I came in for an oil leak? The advisor stated that thats where the oil leak was coming from. I paid $1080 for a rental and $805 for the vacuum pump. I called the dealership on Wednesday August 13, 2024 stating to the advisor that I had an oil leak in my driveway. He asked me to bring it back on Thursday August 15, 2024. He took a look at the vehicle and said that the technician checked everything and there was no leak. I came back to the dealership today Friday August 16, 2024. I showed the advisor the video of the same leak that I had over a month ago and its worst. He took my keys and went to check it out, came back and said that its a leak coming from the top of the shaft and its $2800 for labor and my total cost is $3100. I asked why didnt the technician see that leak after he told me on Wednesday that they checked everything and that they technician stated that theres no leaks? Im so upset! I started breaking down at the dealership because I really feel that they arent being honest. I want to know if possible that someone has information for the corporate office. The advisor saw that I was upset and then stated do I want a new car? I told him no! I just paid off this car last month. Thank you in advance!
