Very disappointed. I went to Village Ford for a simple oil change. I returned home, checked the oil level, and noticed it was barely registering on the dipstick. I added a quart of oil, and it was still registering low. At this point, I had no confidence in the work completed and decided to redo the oil change myself. I did redo it, and it cost me an additional ***** (oil and filter). I then realized they invoiced me for 6 quarts, but my truck takes 7.7 quarts of oil. I'm surprised their system even lets them invoice for the incorrect amount by cross referencing the vehicle. In any event, the drain plug was stripped. I easily took it off with special sockets. However, I finally realized Village Ford had only put 6 quarts of oil back in, I figured I'd go back to Village Ford and get a free drain plug for next time. After my explanation, they did oblige and gave me a free drain plug. However, it was with a simple toss and "here you go". More or less, go away. I decided I would leave an email regarding my complaint, and that turned out to be too much to ask. *******, their internet bot, advised me she would take my complaint but there was no way to leave an email. I told her forget it. I'll leave one with the BBB.

Each time that I have had work done on my 2016 **** Escape, which I purchased at this location, the overall experience left a lot to be desired. This last time, which occurred on October 25, took the cake as the quotes that I was given in writing 30 days prior, which together totaled $700 for four specific maintenance procedures (Cabin Air Filter/Oil Change $100; Coolant Flush $189; Transmission Flush $229; and Brake Flush $179.00) were not honored by the service desk intake employee. Instead the quoted prices were inflated to the point where I could only get the Cabin Air Filter/Oil Change and Transmission Flush done to the tune of $431.02. The parts amount on my bill reads $153.00. While the miscellaneous charges read $37.33. Not surprisingly, the bulk of the bill is the $229.00 for labor. If this isn't a case of text book price gouging, I don't know what is!The last straw for me happened Thursday, November 3 (9 days after my repairs) as the manila paper/plastic guard which sits below the front part of my car to protect the engine, and related operational parts fell off when I was driving, and forced me to ride back to my place of residence with flashers on while listening to the manila paper/plastic guard drag the ground. Once I got back, and jacked the vehicle up so I could look underneath it, I noticed that the screws which hold the manila paper/plastic guard in place were missing. It then became evident to me that in order to perform the Transmission Flush that I had done, the guard had to be removed, so obviously it wasn't screwed back on correctly by the mechanic/repair person, which eventually caused the screws to fall out. This inconvenience caused me to be 2 hours late for work (less pay) as I had to look in my garage to find four screws that I could use to s**** the guard back in place as it was hanging off, and being held by only one s**** on the right side, making the car undrivable! Is this how you treat a valued customers?!
