      I had a payment to ally rejected 4 months ago. I still have not recieved the funds back. Allegedly they do EVERYTHING by check. So instead of bouncing my electronic payment back, they mailed a check 2 months later. Problem is that they mailed the check to an address that doesn't exist. I just want my money back. It takes forever to get a supervisor and when they call back, IF they call back they leave a vague message and put notes in your account that they left a detailed message. The payment should have been back in my account within 10 business days, like with any other company. Yet here we are 4 months later on hold for ages to explain the same issue for the 10th time to someone who won't understand it or be able/ willing to help. At what point is it theft? Don't get a card with them.

      Attempted to purchase a laptop; the company (whom I've purchased from before) called up my credit card as standard operating procedure to verify (to prevent fraud). My card was closed with no notice to me. I called; was told something about 'power of attorney' was exercised. Called the next day and sure enough it was just the laptop company verifying the card.**** calling and being told a manager will look at it. That it's being 'expedited'. To check back Friday. Was told Friday that it can *********** days. So the time span for my card being opened again and looked at kept growing longer and longer.I had to request the card to be opened, because according to the representative that wasn't even on the file. Just a lot of waiting. A lot of 'the manager will look at it in 5 days'. If you ever have to deal with customer service and it isn't something extremely simple it's h***

      I do not recommend Ally credit card or any ********* services. They left me with fraudulent charges to pay for and allowed further charges from the same place to go through even after changing the card number. They treated me like I was scamming them although I used the card for very valid purchases and paid off. As soon as my car is paid off, I will be removing my **** ******** Credit Card and all other aspects of my finances maintained through Ally.

      Inadvertently made an overpayment to my ALLY credit card in November 2023. It is now January **** and have NOT received my $720 refund mailed to me. Many promises and countless phone calls made. Wow!What a horrible company & horrible customer service! They even treat me as if I am a scam artist! NEVER trust this bank.

      I attempted to make a purchase at Best Buy today and my card was declined despite having well over the needed amount available. When I called, I was told there was a block on my card, and was transferred to a security department, who verified the amount of the purchase I attempted, my phone number, the last four digits of my SS#, and the last four digits of the bank account from which I made my most recent payment. Despite providing all of this information, I was told that the card could not be unblocked until I provided a letter from my bank verifying that I had the right to make payments from my bank account because it's different than the account from which previous payments were made. I explained that I'm recently divorced, and had to open a new account for myself because my ex-wife kept our joint account. The representative would not budge on unblocking the account and I had to use my debit card to buy the clothes dryer I was purchasing for my new home, which leaves my budget stretched very thin for the rest of the month. As a result of this, I will not be doing further business with ****. I understand that policies are in place to protect consumers, but this was extremely overzealous and should have been handled better.

      Ive had ally as a credit card for over 6 months and Ive been unable to make an online account because my credentials are not pulling up an account but when I call in they say all my information is correct they just cant do anything. *** had an investigation on going for month to fix this issue and when I call in they say the same thing, nothing can be done someone will contact me. But *** never been contacted so every month I call in to make a payment I ask about the issue and now they seem more annoyed with me asking. Dont use this sad excuse for a credit card, I would be more terrified to open a debit account. Knowing they have my money and I would be able to not see it would be crazy. streer clear, bank with a LEGIT business this is obviously a front or a half assed sorry excuse for a cc.

      STAY AWAY!!!When getting this card they run a hard credit which will knock you down ***** points, then they will close your account with no warning knocking you down ***** points and then they have the nerve to ask you to reapply which will knock you down ***** again. If youre looking to build your credit DO NOT USE olly/ally it is a scam they also have the highest interest% possible which also hurts your credit by making you high risk.

      I opened a new line of credit less than a month ago. Since then Ally Credit Card Company has done 3 hits on my credit report as early as today! They asked me to send verification of the inquires, I did and it is still hitting my credit report making my score decrease. I called the company to deactivate my account then I wanted all my personal information removed and I was told they're not removing personal information at this time. So I asked why and the representative couldn't give me an answer. I asked to speak with someone who could....well she put me in never never land que and of course no one ever picked up. THIS COMPANY IS HORRIBLE FOR INDIVIDUALS TRYING TO BUILD CREDIT!!!They on hurt your score with no explanation why!!

      They closes my account within a few months of paying it off. I lost thousands of available credit. And when I call they told me they had no details of why it was closed.

      Their Ollo Card is a fraud scam and will not return my payment transfer that uswd for another card. It has been 45 days since I used their promotion to transfer and they charged me the money and transfer fee on June 4 but still have not sent the funds
