I needed my home's electricity fixed because a previous contractor had hooked my electricity up incorrectly. Streamline Electric quoted me a price for the fix. I got a loan through the loan company that they recommended. I paid them and they came out. The electrician told me that he would be coming back to complete the job. When he left, I received an entirely different bill that they quoted me in order for them to come back out and finish the job that they started.Business response

My name is ***********************************, I am emailing in reference to complaint ID ********. ********************** is disagreeing with this complaint. *********************** technically has never been a customer of **********************, she is a relative of ***************************** whose job that we are talking about. I can go into as much detail as you need. The condensed version is that this customer called because they were having power issues throughout the entire home. Upon looking at the job Streamline determined we would need to do a troubleshoot to look further into what was going on because the issues were so vast. She was then quoted for a troubleshoot of the electrical wiring for a day worth of trouble shooting and repairs, which would give us the knowledge we need to know what extent the rest of the damage may be. They applied for financing through our partner ********, got approved for financing by adding *********** as a cosigner. We came out and did the troubleshoot and made some repairs which repaired power to PART of the home, we then gave a quote for 2 additional days of troubleshooting and repairs like we had originally communicated to the homeowner. The homeowner was angry that what we did, did not fix everything and refused to pay us. After reaching out to them MANY times we were finally able to get them to complete their greensky confirmation that the work was complete so we could be paid. They had to confirm with ******** that the job was completed for us to be paid. That was the last communication we had with *****************************. We have never had contact with ***********************. The only way we were able to figure out who this was from is from the address. Please let me know if there is anything else you need from me.

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.I do not agree with the assessment and the loan from green sky was approved before we called the electric company but I do not want to deal with it any more.
