      I went to see ****************************** at ****************************** located at ***************************************************************** on the 20th of July, 2023, using my Meridian, ****************** and MTM transportation for my pain management re-evaluation and my neurological issues and cognitive impairment side effects from using anti-convulsants. He refused to examine me physically and neurologically, refused to diagnose or treat me. He got mad at me because I scored 24/30 in the oral memory-test taken by the nurse and said Im not going to prescribe you medications. I dont know what kind of medications he can not prescribe when I score 24/30 in the memory test, as I did NOT specify or ask for any specific kind of medication. I was going there for pain management and neurology that they advertise for, and expecting an overall re-evaluation, diagnosis and treatment- options as they advertise on their website. ************ yelled at me because I have patient history of Depression and Anxiety and have been on anti-depressants and benzodiazepines. He told me that he cant treat me or see me when I have these issues and refused to even listen to my complaints. He humiliated me and made me cry during the 12 minutes he spent with me in the room. It was one of my worst experiences with a health care provider that ******** provide for patients. I am hereby reporting him, as I believe, this attitude should never happen to anyone, else. I have also reported him to another official organizations.

      I contacted customer service at phone number ************ and spoke with rep ********* This occurred on 10.29.2021 at approximately 8:15-8:21. I received a denial and provided the claim number because it denied for diagnosis. I asked the rep which diagnosis are invalid. Her response was it was four and I cant tell you which one denied. I asked to speak with a supervisor and she hung up the phone in my face. How can this call be tracked because this happens to me a lot when I call customer service.

      Meridian Health in their members handbook lets you sign up for Weight Watchers. I went to my doctors and signed all the necessary paperwork and had them fax it over to Meridian for approval. This occurred on August 16, 2021. A week later I contacted Meridian to see if they received my paperwork. They told me no paperwork was filed. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was promptly disconnected. I called back was told that I needed my doctor to send it in again. I did as they asked. Called back the following was told it was not in the system give it a few more days. Called back again spoke with a ******* in customer service he told me that yes they had my paperwork and that a case worker would be assigned to give it a few days. Waited again no response. Called and was told They have no paperwork. I filed a grievance on September 3, 2021. I have never been treated so badly. Meridian does not care about people. I would like something to be done to resolve this problem.
