We hired Four Four Pictures as the videographer for our daughters wedding on 10/16/21. As of this date we have not received the final edited product promised and paid for. The owner initially communicated with us to offer an explanation for the delay but we have not heard anything from him since January 2, 2023. To say we are devastated is an understatement. This man holds the final product of a very special memory to our family. This isn't just about not getting what we paid for.....this is about trusting a business to capture a once in a lifetime event. Capturing history so that my daughter and her husband can relive their special day and share with their children. This wedding was the last family event before my mother died of cancer less than a year later. We are being robbed of the opportunity to view and remember those moments with her. At this point I need either need the final product that we contracted this company for or I need a reply from the owner letting us know if we will ever see it. I need some kind of closure. It is too painful to continue on wondering if he will ever follow through.Initial Complaint

On 6-15-2021, I signed a contract with ******************************* for his services for my wedding on December 30, 2021. I received the raw footage from him on 01-20-2022, with a projected timeframe of completion in 7-9 months. Since then, he has promised time and again that he would have the video completed, setting deadlines in April 2022, July 2022, and December 2023, with long stretches in between where I have not heard from him after repeated emails. I am bitterly disappointed that after two years, I still have nothing but the raw footage of my wedding, after paying up front and signing a contract which stated the video would be completed in a "reasonable time." I do not find two years to be reasonable at all. I am frustrated, upset, and disappointed at the lack of professionalism, communication, and honesty. I wish I had known this was going to be a problem or I had been informed of any backlog before signing a contract. If I had I would not have considered FourFour Pictures a viable option for their services. If this is not quickly resolved, I will be taking this case to small claims court.Initial Complaint

We had our wedding in July 2022 and only received one edited video. We were promised the raw footage, and two edited videos after paying in full. The raw footage was our main reason for specifically using this service, and we have not received this yet. After contacting the service multiple times, we have not received a sufficient response about the services due to us. It is made worse knowing that the owner is working on another business elsewhere while ignoring his customers from this business. This lack of professionalism and timeliness is unexpected and a first for my experience. The owner has previously expressed difficulties in his life in late 2022, and we have given a reasonable amount of patience and graciousness, but with the knowledge that the owner is involved in another business and with absolutely no communication after multiple attempts, we feel as if the videographer no longer intends to complete what was promised. This is unacceptable, and with the large sum of money paid for services not received, we are considering escalating this case.Initial Complaint

I hired **** in the spring of 2021 to shoot video footage of my wedding. The transaction started out very well I had high hopes for the results. We were married on 11-19-2021. The day of **** couldnt stay to complete the videography and left an associate behind to finish. While I wish I wouldve known prior to him arriving at my wedding I agreed and went about my day. I received unedited raw footage after contacting the business multiple times in February 2022. Its been over two years and I have yet to receive my weeding video. I received an email in January 2023 a year later letting me know of personal issues and letting me know hes doing his best. But now I havent even been contacted about the video since May of this year. *** tried to reach ******************** on multiple occasions since then and he has been unresponsive. I tried to be understanding but the lack of communication is unacceptable. I feel like I will never get this video back.Initial Complaint

My wedding was December 17th, 2022 and I paid in full for the services that were to be provided by FourFour Pictures (about a year in advance). As of today, I have received the raw footage from the day (which was recorded by a 3rd party videographer, not the owner of this business), but I still have not received the edited final video that was promised.The owner assured me that I would have the finished production (edited) video in a reasonable amount of time, but I wish he would have been honest that he was backlogged at the time I booked. I would have gladly paid someone else for the service that I have yet to receive.After about a month or two of silence, I started reaching out to the owner to ask when I might be able to expect the finished product. I received an automated response that the owner was traveling for several weeks. The owner has responded to about 1/3 of the emails I have sent and still has not provided a clear timeline as to when I can expect the finished product.On 9/19/23, he said, Hi *******, my update is that I do not have an update right now but I am getting closer.This lack of professionalism is astounding, and frankly, unacceptable.Business response

I have been dealing with some ongoing personal health issues that have caused unexpected and unprecedented delays. As this is a personal health matter, I have tried to keep my responses to clientele vague and short, which I realize is frustrating. We paid for ****'s services for our wedding date of 10/23/2021. His website gave estimates of 6-8 months for final video. At our wedding, he stated he had a larger than normal amount of weddings that year, and said it would be 11 months until we received. When the 11 months came up, and no update was given, we reached out to **** for an update, and he said he had a bottleneck, but was working to get it finished. He would be taking 2 months at the end of the year to get caught up. When we reached out to him again, he stated he wasn't able to get as many done, but promised we would receive "soon". He has continued to change our date each time. We have tried to give him ***** throughout this process, but at this point he seems to be abusing that courtesy. He has claimed he will be uploading the videos to the "Dropbox" app, but each time, the folder is empty. He claims issues with the internet and/or app are causing this, but he has claimed he would have the video uploaded for months, so that does not seem to be accurate. We have tried to be patient and extend him the courtesies any professional would want. But at this point it just seems to be a game to him. We are coming up on 2 years since our wedding date, and almost 1 since we were seeing potential issues. This complaint would have been given sooner, but we were trying to give him every opportunity to make this situation right.Business response

The customer received the vast majority of what their contract called for. They asked for a few changes to their main video, which I can still working on, as well as one additional video. Those will all be completed in the next 4 days.Customer response

My wife and I hired Fourfour pictures for our wedding on 9/18/21. We were told we would have a final video 6-9 months after the wedding. We paid venmo $3500 up front. After multiple emails after the 9 months we were told the the video was almost done and should have it soon. Multiple emails and texts have turned into empty promises.Business response

I will send the video by the end of this month. While I know that the reasons for the delays are valid and legitimate, it does not negate the pain I have caused you and ***. For that I am deeply sorry. I will send the video to you by the end of August. We can keep this claim open until then.

Required video recording services from this company for my wedding. The company owner and the involved employees delivered horrible video, that can hardly even be used. When *** reached out to give the owner a fair chance to rectify or explain the situation, hes ignored my emails and has not attempted to make right on the money I spent and basically did not follow through on his side of the contract.
