My name is *** ****. I have done business with Hollow Corners Veterinary Services, ******, MI for many years. They have never had to come after me for not paying my bills. They have always called/texted their customers when an appointment was coming up within a day or two as a reminder, always. In June I did not receive any notice in June 2024 for an appointment and so I missed it. I learned of this missed appointment when they sent me a bill for $25.00 for a missed appointment. I contacted them to ask why I never received a call/text and asked to speak with Dr ********* Anytime I have asked to speak with Dr ******** as to why I didn't receive any call/text I would get her secretary saying Dr. ******** says we are standing by what we do. Yes, because of my job I forgot the appointment but they also did not follow what they do for their customers. They never gave any explanation when I asked the office staff that "I received no call/text'. They would reply 'I don't know."This is why I was asking to speak with Dr ******** but seeming to only get an employee upset me. If she ever tried to contact me I don't know. Today, I received a notice/call/text that if I don't take care of this $25.00 they are turning it over to the collection agency. I would just like this to end as I feel because I did not get a text/call why am I being threatened to have my credit ruined when I don't understand why I didn't get a call/text that they have done for years . When they have called /texted I have always shown up or I would cancel the appointment. I would just like them to write this off as I never would have purposely done. It is like well we forgot to text/call, we don't know why but you still owe us $25.00. A business can make an error but a customer can't. If I had been a negligent customer I would say OK, I did it again but it wasn't that way.
