There fraud happening on my credit card I didnt authorize it and they refuse to open the dispute and is illegal against regulation. They keep saying I did it and I would have to pay and all there support is extremely rude if this credit card isnt removed from my credit report I will be taking them to court!Business response

I am writing to express my profound concern about the disclosure of my nonpublic information to credit bureaus and the resulting inaccuracies on my credit report, leading to significant financial and emotional distress.As outlined in 15 USC **** Section 602, I assert my right to financial privacy, expecting the confidential treatment of my information.Moreover, 15 USC **** Section 604(a)(2) underscores that a consumer reporting agency cannot furnish account information without my written instructions, which have not been provided.I have identified discrepancies on my credit report originating from MSU FED CU, adversely impacting my financial well-being. Based on our investigation, our records indicate that ********************************* does not have an account with *** ******************************************************************. MICHIGAN STATE UNIVERSITY FEDERAL CREDIT UNION HAS VIOLATED CREDIT REPORTING LAWS ALONG WITH VEHICLE REPOSESSION LAWS. THIS CREDIT UNION ALLOWED AN AGENCY THAT WAS NOT ME TO TO AUTHORIZE THEM TO REPOSESS MY VEHICLES THAT WAS FINANCED THROUGH THEIR COMPANY. THEY THEN REPORTED TO MY CREDIT THAT I HAD 2 REPOSESSIONS, MY CAR NOTES WERE NOT BEHIND NOR HAD I EVER MADE ONE LATE PAYMENT, THE VEHICLES WERE PAID AS AGREED. THEY DO NOT HAVE ANYTHING SIGNED BY ME AUTHORIZING THEM TO REPOSESS MY VEHICLES. UPON NOTIFYING MICHIGAN STATE UNIVERSITY FEDERAL CREDIT UNION THAT I DID NOT AUTHORIZE THIS NOR DID I EVEN SIGN ANYTHING TO AUTHORIZE A REPOSESSION THEY SAID OH WELL, THERES NOTHING THAT THEY CAN DO AND I COULD NOT HAVE MY VEHICLES BACK. THIS ENTITY DID NOT HAVE A POWER OF ATTORNEY OR ANYTHING TO AUTHORIZE THIS ACTION, IT WAS ILLEGAL, ALL THE WHILE I STILL PAID MY CAR NOTES ON TIME. MICHIGAN STATE FEDERAL CREDIT UNION TURNED AROUND AND MADE ME TAKE OUT A PERSONAL LOAN (WITH THEM) TO PAY THE BALANCE OF THE **** OFF . I ASKED THEM TO REPAIR MY CREDIT FROM THE ILLEGAL AND INACCURATE REPORTING OF A REPOSESSION ON MY CREDIT THEY HAVE REFUSED. THEY HAVE REPORTED NOW THAT I HAVE A REDEEMED REPOSESSION AND IT IS CAUSING ME TO NOT BEING ABLE TO FINANCE MY NEW HOME OR MY BUSINESS. I HAVE TRIED TO WORK WITH THEM BY NOT SUEING THEM FOR VIOLATING REPOSESSION LAWS AND CREDIT REPORTING LAWS BECAUSE I NEED MY CREDIT UPDATED TO TRUE AND ACCURATE INFORMATION.Business response

I just want to confirm receipt of this complaint. Our member has also submitted this complaint to our Federal regulators (NCUA), which we received today (11/7/23). Under the NCUA's complaint process, we provided 60 days to investigate and respond. I know the BBB applies a 10-day time period.

Due to the nature of the matter being addressed, our official response requires review by our Chief Legal Counsel. I recently got a vehicle loan through MSUFCU and it has not been an easy transition compared to other financial institutions I have dealt with in the past and most recently, I had a check returned as I pay my payment via money market account and personal checking and it hit my credit report. Ever since joining, I have had issues setting up accounts on the app to pay my payment, not to mention it seems like the app is always down.Initial Complaint

I was taken advantage by a scam caller. They stated they were Amazon and that I had a fraudulent purchase of an iphone on my account. They hacked into my account and charged ******* to my checking account, using card ending in ****.the description is Ramp smvf43gsskeio7e ***** **.I did not authorize this purchase or amount to be taken from my account. I have been taken advantage of due to my age, I am on a fixed income and need these funds. I was told I have to wait 30 days. Greetings,For the past few months I have been trying to communicate with ****** in regards to issues with my ESCROW and new mortgage payments. In prior years they have always been willing to work with me as a customer to keep my mortgage payments at a reasonable level. Further, in prior years I had actually received refunds, because they actually calculated yearly expenses correctly, and estimated above that for some cushion. However, in the past few years they have been unable to estimate yearly expenses, and I have had a surprise each fall of $100s in shortage on my ESCROW that I have to make up, and unreasonable increases in my mortgage. I've gone along with it up until this point. This year was well out of bounds, even for a shady lender. Last year I paid well over $1000 to make up for their poor estimate to at least keep my monthly payment below $690, and I was told that I should be fine the following fall, and may even have a refund. This was not the case as they are claiming over $500 in shortage, and refuse to communicate straight with me, or work with me to keep my mortgage under $700, despite every offer of payment I can think of. I should note that since taking my loan out, I have never taken out a home insurance claim, there has never been any claim that MSUFCU or their insurance has had to cover, or help with home improvement. Further, I pay on time, and my credit has continually improved.I need to hear back from an executive of this company if they approve of their mortgage lenders business practices, and the customer service I have been offered during this time, because at this point I feel like I have been getting scammed for the past few years.Initial Complaint
