We engaged with TNT Outdoors to build a seawall for our ******** lake property. The work was to include all permitting, seawall construction ($29,925), back fill ($7,000) and a retaining wall ($12,500). Work was completed and payment was made on the sight of permits being filled out and filed with the state. Unfortunately, after several months those permits were not filed with the state. We also contacted another contractor on the suspicion the job was done incorrectly and was told the structure was unsound due to the materials used and construction quality. The project lacked the toe stones or the permission by the state that the structure was sound.Overall, the company lied on what they did with the state (actually filling out forms but never submitting) and the *********** has my family engaging with another company to get the job done properly.Do not work with this company. The entire project was a failure and now will cost ** more to replace the permitted seawall and retaining wall. We'd like to get a full refund to help offset the amount of money we have to pay to correct the issues caused by TNT Outdoors.

And we were not hired to do toestone on this job (not in our contract) at this time there will be no refund we are more than willing to fix any damages to the wall and talk to EGLE and see what we need to do if the wall is not able to be permitted After the fact,

In April of 2021 TNT took a deposit of $23,000 to install aluminum floating steps and landings on the **** ******** bluff at my home. They promised a 5 week turn-around and plans on how the steps would look. I had repeated calls with Taylor U******, owner of TNT. He kept giving excuses of supply chain issues, then it was labor issues, then it was another delay after another. In October he finally showed up with some steps which were not what was agreed to and later stated he was putting them in as "temporary". I said I wanted what we contracted for and his guys left and never returned. I spoke to Taylor and told him it was ridiculous and that I wanted my money back so I could contract with someone who could actually do the work. He said he wouldn't give me back my money. I told him the contract was canceled and demanded a full refund and if he didn't refund the money, I would have my attorney contact him. He stated he would drag this out for a year or more and there wasn't anything I could do about it. He blocked my phone number and refused my calls at his office. I also sent him emails and gave him 90 days to provide the refund as per the written agreement. He did not respond. I had my attorney send him a letter demanding payment in 10 days. He did not respond. I am left with little choice but to pursue this in court. I will be notifying my attorney to move forward with a lawsuit. He also did other bluff work for me. He damaged the lower toe wall on the bluff and has refused to come back and fix it. He states his work has a 10 year guaranty but he doesn't seem to want to honor it. I will ask my attorney how to address his lack of breach of warranty.
