On 3/2/2024, I purchased a 2022 vehicle from Suburban Volkswagen of Farmington Hills, MI. After returning home and reviewing the Purchaser Agreement, I noticed a line item for *********** on the invoice. As this was never discussed during the purchase of the vehicle, I had to go to the internet to find what this charge might be referring to. During the review of purchase documents, this item was never discussed. In addition, we have no documentation regarding what is covered with the *********** option provided and how we would go about making a claim if something were to occur with the paint coating on the vehicle. I have called and left messages in voice mails of the Financial Manager and the Sales Manager (2 messages with each person). No return call was received from either individual. After research on the Internet, it was determined that it was a charge for a ceramic car finish that would have taken at least 1-2 hours to apply. We received the keys to the vehicle immediately after closing the financial paperwork. This would not have allowed enough time for them to apply the coating to the vehicle at that time. Unless the coating was already on the vehicle previously. If that was the case, it should have been included in the agreed upon final sale price, and not an additional line item classified as a Dealer Installed Accessory and Option. This line item was $1095.00 (pre-tax). Additionally, there is no way to confirm that the *********** coating was applied to the vehicle. We are seeking a refund for this *********** line item only (including tax).

My car has been sitting at this dealership for more than 3 months. They have been very late in responding back to me. They never call or update me, I always have to check with them every single day and I get the same response back saying that they are working on the car. They have never given me an estimate and often say that there is no set schedule. For representing audi, this showroom is not following customer standards or protocols. My car was supposed to be done close to 2 weeks ago, I never get a call from them and when I call, all they say is that we are still working on it. They have been torturous and horrendous and unapologetic about this situation.

When I was going over the finance portion- the agent went over a warranty they were offering as a monthly installment. He made it clear it is a monthly *************** can cancel at any time. He did not say it will be apart of the loan amount. When I called to cancel my warranty someone told me I should assume it was going to apart of my loan amount and will not be removed from my payment. Im making this complaint so no one goes through the same thing.
