Went to buy a used vehicle here and even had an out the door price on the vehicle I wanted. For 2 days I talked with R****** G******* I am talking to him Thursday evening 12/21/2023 by Email and asked him to draw up a contract for the price I was quoted after he sent me the deal he put together by text at 6:20 PM with TTL and doc fees. Then he Emailed me at 9:00 AM this morning to tell me he sold the car at 7:00PM Thursday, not 40 minutes after he sent the deal to me in text. They close at 8:00 PM so if you do the math they got a contract drawn up, finance resolved TAX TITLE INSURANCE and delivery in less than 40 minutes. Record time R******? The average time it takes to buy a car is 2 hours and 50 minutes. That means you had to be selling it to someone else even as we negotiated and you didn't even bother to mention this anytime during our conversations. Not one word. Way to go R***** ! Be very careful dealing with this rickshaw dealership. The good news, I might have dodged a bullet with this shady outfit. I was actually looking for 3 vehicles not just the one. I'll buy my 3 vehicles at a more reputable dealerSuburban Toyota of Farmington Hills Response

****, I'm sorry to hear that the car you wanted sold in the time we had communication between our salesman and yourself. We understand the frustration and apologize for any inconvenience. Please understand we sell many cars on our online platform which is why we do not hold any cars until the customer is ready to commit and complete ownership paperwork. I would be happy to assist you with any future purchases if you'd like while assisting with a goodwill credit towards any protection items you see fit. Thank you, *******************- General ManagerReview from Tatiyana F

I bought a used 2016 ***** Trax from this dealership on 07-31-2023. This dealership was my first time buying a car, and it has been by far the most excruciating and stressful experience I have ever had making a big purchase. Here is a list of poor experiences I've ad with them:-There was a check engine light on that was never mentioned before I came to test drive. My sales consultant ********************* assured me it was illegal for them to sell it to me with a check engine light and so they wrote a "we owe you" for it. -************************* my financing guy never physically showed me the contract just verbal confirmed details then scrolled to signature boxes. -Added $3,400 package to my contract without telling me.-Had a $500 trade they said would be applied to the principle balance, but upon reviewing they never did and so I had to get a heck cut to me(a process that was also poorly handled).-When trying to contact *************************, abut contract issues he was radio silent for weeks until we went above him to finance manger ********************-After those poor experiences I wanted all packages/warranties canceled. Again it took weeks and even when we got to the general manger of the location ******************* he wasn't helpful and made condescending statements like asking if we were canceling the warranty out of spite. - Took the car to them twice and it went from an "O2 sensor" to a catalytic converter that they couldn't fix. We the had to get an attorney involved for them to see it a third time to which they said that we had to take it to a ***** dealer and that they would pay for it. -Once the ***** dealer tried to contact them about payment they were extremely difficult to get a hold of and I had to pay nearly $560 to get my car back.-Although ******************* tried to fix some thing he wasn't thorough and I keep having to come back over mistakes or oversights on their part. Overall had a miserable experience with this dealership and would not recommend their services.Suburban Toyota of Farmington Hills Response

We apologize for any inconvenience caused. It seems there was an oversight, and we have committed to resolving this issue. We have refunded *********** work that was promised to be fixed after the sale and canceled the service contract that was signed outside of the original purchase agreement. *******, we have the best intentions for you and wish you the best, *******************- General ManagerReview from Hoa L

I bought 2023 Highlander Platinum hybrid on apr 4,2023.we decided to get the car without the driving test ( the seller drove ** in the parking lot around half a mile). We drove the car home at that night, we figured out the steering wheel alway switch to the right. I gave the seller a call and he told me to come back the dealer in the morning on apr 5.They made appointment for me to come back to fix. On the way home, i found out the sunroof have problem. When closing, the sunroof drop out, it look like the blanket in my head. I took the car back the service center on apr 6 morning. The man saw me and Asked me the pull the car out of there.I feel ok at the first sight with the seller but after we done with the deal, we came to sign the finance paper work, the finance manager try to upsell some warranty package. We reject it and seem he get mad of me.in 2 days have so much mistake on the highest highlander model 55 thousand. I m not happy at all. After everything, they try to fix and ask ** to get the car. The dealer manager told **, something wrong he will handle for **.But now my car, the steering wheel still switch to the right, and they found out the control arm bend. The pushed that mistake on me. I try to contact by phone, leave the message , even go back to dealer but the general manager try to avoid seeing me even he known im waiting outside. I did not know what i should do now with the problem car and dealer seen no responsibility on there customer.Suburban Toyota of Farmington Hills Response

Absolute robbery. I had a problem with my central dash unit in march 2022. It would stay on after I turned the car off and it would drain the batteries. This dealership replaced the unit and fixed the problem for $900. Here were are in January 2023 and the same problem started again. IT is under warranty and they said they will take care of it. The next day I get a request for " further diagnosis" and they want to charge me $528 dollar for this. I speak with the sales manager and he says that it must be a short behind the dash and not the unit itself, meaning that they missed the diagnosis the first time. Now they want to stick it in my a** for over $500 dollars just for diagnosis. I have no recourse at this this point and they are practicing modern day Nazism, forcing people against their will. I cant wait to see what type of ******** they come up with after they do their $500 diagnosis. I liked to be pegged just as much as the next guy, but when they bend you over against your will without any lube, well that is just considered ****. For any future customers, I would highly consider getting you work done some where else. Even if its covered under warranty, they will still find a way to stick it in your a**
