Create affordable housing for low-incomefamilies in the most blighted areas of the county, therefore ensuring lowpurchase price from the city/state.ProgramsHousing – residents are encouraged totake full advantage of all our programs, using the Career Center, ClientServices Department, and Children’s Programs to better their chances insustainability once they exit. In return, our residents have a responsibilityto pay a small maintenance fee, save most of their earnings, and participate indaily chores. Residents can stay up to two years, and they are encouraged tostay at least six months to get the full benefits of the program. Oftenresidents follow a plan of increased privileges and responsibilities by movinginto the Family Housing program. Once they leave the campus, alumni of theHousing programs are encouraged to continue using our services on campus andfamilies may apply to enroll in our Homelessness Prevention . The Career Center - We offer a variety of individual, group, computer-based, andclassroom-based opportunities led by skilled volunteers, licensed instructors,financial professionals, Job Corps of Flint members, and our team members.Additionally, we offer connections to on-the-job and occupational training,certifications, and job leads.Children’s Program - Our team of Youth ProgramSpecialists work daily with Our Club students to provide individualizedmentorship and tutoring. Youth are assigned to different “teams” based ongrade-level. Our staff stays up-to-date on all students’ grades and schoolperformance to individually assess their needs!
