ABC Auto Repair is working in concert with the extended warranty provider Car Shield to significantly overcharge for repairs which they then extort those fees that you must pay to obtain the final work to completion of your vehicle. Car Shield suddenly denies your claim/contract leaving you at the mercy of the owner of *** who will not negotiate any terms, but asks for the title to your car as his 'repair bill' exceeds the value of your car, this is legalized extortion and should be investigated by the State of Michigan. It also violates the Americans with Disabilities Act that is supposed to protect us that are disabled from this egregious dishonesty. Car Shield has a d+ rating with the Better Business Bureau and a National Class Action suit pending against them, which I didn't know until encountering this blatant fraud. ABC Auto Repair's own employee told me that many of Car Shield's customers have encountered this very same problem when their car was towed to their shop as they are a main provider for Car ******* 'repairs.' *** told me that they had put a replacement computer into my car and it only needed to be reprogrammed for completion, but I had to pay 2600$ to have them continue work on it as they claim that they had to take my motor apart. They've had my car for almost a year and I'm on disability, the owner twice said that he wants the title to my car, this is extortion.

This whole issue lies in the hands of the aftermarket warranty company who denied your claim. Your issue is with them not with us we have had your vehicle for a year and have received no payment from you. Most businesses would have already filed for a lien against your vehicle. I can assure you, we do not want your car. We just want to get the matter settled. We have given you discounts because you are a disabled veteran and we do respect that. we are at the point we have done all we can do until your balance is settled.
