We ordered parts for our Harley back in March. We made an appointment in mid-May in hopes of having it done in plenty of time to ride for the June 11 bike rally in Mackinaw City. We were told that the bike could not be completed in time for the rally so we went down to get it in order to ride for the long weekend rally events. We made another appointment and dropped it off to be done while we were on vacation in July. We would be gone for a week and we dropped it the weekend prior. This was approx July 10th. We would be driving back from Detroit after our flight on the 20th and more than ample time allotted for the parts to be installed and put on the dyno tune machine. We were told on our way back from Colorado that it was not ready. Something now about the dyno tune machine being "broken" before it was about not having the mechanics to do the job. So we did not pick it up. Now we are preparing for our trip out to Sturgis for the bike rally there and we NEED to have it done. That is almost a month that they have had the bike. Now mind you, we had our Harley we owned prior updated with the exact same parts in Knoxville, they had it done in five days! We know what the turnaround time should be for the work we wanted done. My husband showed up at the shop on the late afternoon of the 3rd of August to pick it up. It was still on the rack. So he went over to have a burger at a nearby restaurant. He said he will not be leaving without his motorcycle. The business closes at 6pm. He left there at 10pm with his motorcycle. As far as I know (I am his wife) he did NOT get a discount at all. He paid for the labor. He had previously paid the $1000 for the parts. I am infuriated that no discount was offered. I would not as a customer ever paid the full amount. I am sincerely disgusted with this kind of business and we will NEVER step foot in this establishment again.
