We signed a contract in May, understanding that due to delays our kitchen remodel would not begin for several weeks. We were told the job all together for our kitchen remodel (floor, tile, cabinets, counter only; NO drywall work, no appliances to order, no electrical, no plumbing) could take up to **** weeks once it began. We got a call in August that they had scheduled a contractor to come out to begin the teardown a couple days later. They began on August 10th, and it is now November 19th - 101 days later, a full 14 weeks, and it is still not completed. There were days the contractor and painter did not show up but no one communicated this to us, though I believe it was the project manager's job to manage their subs and communicate with clients. In fact the project manager only came out once and never called us without having to return a call. Most recently their sub was sick, did not come when they said they would, and the project manager said it was again a miscommunication as he thought the sub would call us (there seems to be a lot of miscommunication). Here we are going into the holidays with an unfinished kitchen/dining area and no estimated completion date.
