I was fired for swearing. The management including *************** were constantly swearing and making sexual remarks. It was a known issue that one of the salesman sexually harassed the females but management did not do a single thing about it. **** Watson also sold me a lemon Silverado. It broke down at 82 miles. They have sold customers a vehicle while they have an open recall on it. There are salesman who for drugs on the property. They will submit credit applications to banks without customers signatures. *************** has contacted me for no reason since they let me go. I want **** Watson to be looked into.

      Business response

      06/29/2022

To Whom it May *********************************************** was released from employment due to conduct. Employee conduct is outlined in various places of our employee handbook. Directly on pages *****, we expect employees to Treat each other as well as outside sources, courteously, politely and with respect and consideration at all times,  her wording, tone and actions did not represent her or **** Watson in accordance with such standards on June 17, 2022.  She was employed with **** Watson from March 7, 2022, through June 17, 2022.  During which time she also asked employees to lie to the manufacturer, *************** regarding the repairs on her personal vehicle and the status of it.
During the term of her employment, we do not have any complaints from her on file or to any officers knowledge of swearing in the building, sexual remarks or harassment, or reports of employee drug use.
We have not had any reports of sexual harassment or drug use by staff members, nor has management observed any.  We conducted interviews with staff members on June 24 and 27 of ***************************************************************** been victim of sexual harassment. When asked about drug use on property, no staff members reported that they have seen illegal drugs used on the property by other staff members.
As a dealership, we do not make the vehicles that are sold on our lot, the manufacturer, *************** does.  We would have no way of knowing if a vehicle is going to have any potential problems. If ************************ is having issues with her vehicle, I would urge her to take it to a GM dealer for repairs as it is under manufacturer warranty, and if she has concerns with the vehicle further, contact ************** or an attorney.
Our compliance officer has conducted a review of all vehicles ************************ completed sales on during her duration with Burt Watson Chevrolet Buick, our findings were that no vehicle were sold with open recalls,or under manufacturers stop delivery.  We also interviewed sales managers and office staff that review every deal, and they are unable to recall a situation where we sold a vehicle with an open stop delivery recall.
It is against federal law to pull credit on an individual that has not consented.  We follow all state and federal laws when it comes to credit reports and safeguarding customer information.  We are unsure of where this accusation is coming from, as we have found signatures or electronic consent on all credit applications when completing our regular internal audits.
************************ was contact by ********************************************************, *************** and ***********************, General Sales Manager on Monday, June 20, 2022, in regard to a Google.com review that was posted by her family member.
If you could provide us with specific examples such as names or specific vehicle sales, we would be happy to investigate these accusations further. However, given the vagueness of her current accusations, we cannot find anything that was done incorrectly.
