    in March 2023 I started going to this dentist office. I presented them my insurance which is ******** humana. I spoke to **** at the front desk and also the office manager at the time(not sure of her name). They both told me they accepted my insurance. I had to have several treatments due to cavities and an extraction. All the times I went to the office I was told everything was covered and there was no balance. I have never recieved a bill from the office and have never been called or told that I have a balance. I then go in today for my 6 month appointment and am told by the new office manager that I have a $1,000 past due balance. I tried talking to her and explaining the situation and told her if I knew my insurance wouldn't cover my treatment I would have went somewhere that did. She proceeded to call me a liar and said there is nothing she can do, that it is my responsibility. My issue is how is this my responsibility when I was told several times I had no balance and they were billing my insurance, I have never received notice of a balance. When I recieved my EOB from my insurance i seen the amount but was told it was still in the process of being billed and to not worry about it, it will be covered. Now both of the woman I was dealing with at the office and had informed me of this, are no longer working there. This is not right and I shouldn't have to pay a balance I was never made aware of and told I wouldn't have.Thank you *********************
