    In early January of 2023 we signed up for a Planet Fitness account for our 14 year old daughter to go to the gym with her older sister. She went once and said it wasn't for her. Since the end of January I have been trying to cancel my membership. I've tried to do this on their website, via their app, I've called and left message for the *********** location, and I have reached out to their national customer service via their website. I was informed by their national customer service via email that I could mail a certified letter to cancel my membership but that I should call them first to find out how to cancel. Which is what I had been doing. I called again and left a message. On Monday, May 1, 2023 I mailed a certified letter asking for my membership to be cancelled and asking that fees for February, March, April, and May (if applicable) be refunded as I had done my diligence to cancel and had not had anyone from their facility bother to return a call. I received an email from Planet Fitness on 5/3 with another form attached to it but no instructions. I replied immediately and asked what I need to do with this form and if the other months would be credited to me. I have not had a reply. I replied to their email again today, May 5, 2023 asking again what I needed to do with the form that was sent to me and about a refund for the other months and so far today have not had a reply or a phone call from Planet Fitness. I would like a refund for the months of February, March, April and May (***** per MONTH and a member fee of $24.99) refunded to me and my membership cancelled. The practices of this club are irresponsible and borderline unethical. Not calling someone back when they've left messages specifically asking how to cancel a membership is unacceptable.
