      We purchased a new camper on April 1 after our first camping trip, we realized that there were some issues with our camper. We called camping world to schedule an appointment as it was all covered under warranty. Upon dropping our camper off, we were told one week *** two week for it to be fixed After our camper sat for a total of 3 1/2 weeks we contacted them. They stated that they had not even touched or looked at our camper. They were waiting on manufacturing approval. With a no communication, we never got a call back. We never got any communication. We stated we had an upcoming camping trip and we needed to pick up the camper. We picked it up and no repairs were done. We were told that we would get a call in about a week and a half for us to schedule to bring it back to have the repairs done after two weeks and two days we still had not received a phone call. We had made multiple attempts to call their office where we were told that they were unavailable or too busy to take our call. After a phone call placed on June 27. The service advisor ******************* Who on multiple occasions told me that he was too busy to handle my issues told me on June 27 that he had the parts and he was just too busy to reach out. I asked him multiple questions. He couldnt answer any of my questions. He just stated when can you bring it back in? When can we schedule for it to get back in after proceeding to get more clarifying questions on how long this is going to take as I am paying for a loan on a camper that I cannot use, because it sits on there a lot for multiple weeks at a time I needed more clarification. He stated that I was not the only customer in their business that he needed to worry about. He proceeded to start yelling at me. I asked him to please lower his voice and let me speak. He then kept talking over me and repeating the same line over and over and over again until I stated I didnt wanna have to take any legal action he then canceled my service and hung up,

                    Camping World RV Sales, LLC (CWRV Sales) is in receipt of the above-referenced consumer complaint (the Complaint) recently filed with your office. We take all consumer issues very seriously and appreciate your office bringing this matter to our attention.    


                    CWRV Sales confirmed we spoke with *****************************. CWRV Sales confirms a new advisor was assigned to assist the customer with service issues. Our ******************* staff has been told and will look over it for future training opportunities. To that end, we now consider this matter

                    closed.

      I went in to buy a camper ****** dollars and asked for specific things on the camper I was lied to and sold what I didn't want .I then asked to have all of the things fixed that are wrong with the camper I was sold and lied to about this was last October. They still have the brand new camper almost 1 year later and continue to lie I have contacted the attorney General who has vontacted them and there response to them was a lie .I have contacted there corporate office and they have tried to cover up the situation that has been going in for a year almost. I have contacted heartland trailers and they told me camping world has lied to me in regards to them .I have text messages and documentation of the lies from them and the salesman .what they have done should be criminally prosecuted or at very least there license to sell anything to the public should be revoked. I have only told the bare outline of what has happened in this year time span .and the gross negligence of this company. They should not be allowed under ******** law to lie and do the things they have done .

      On June 4th (Saturday) we went to see a camper. We looked at the camper, but where told we couldn't buy said camper because it was being shipped back to the manufacturer. We placed a $2000.00 deposit on different camper. They told us if we changed our mind prior to our next appointment, they would refund the deposit. I called them June 6th (Monday) and told them we thought about it, and no longer want to move forward. We where told the deposit would be cut that Friday & mailed to us, no problem. No check came. I called them, was told that following week no one was in the office, all at training, but the check would be cut and mailed that Friday! Still no check came. I received an email from our salesman on June 22nd that the check has been cut, he has confirmation and will mail Friday. Again still no check came. The sales manager contacted me personally that following THURSDAY to say he had the check in his hand and was going to priority mail it to us. He called me back to tell me he would do one better and over night the check to us due to the inconvenience of it all. This making it delivered to us on Sat. July 1st. No check came. I have now tried to call his personal cell number he gave me, I have emailed, we have called the office and no one will return our calls. I've left ******** feedback, It's been over a month now and we have been told multiple times our check would be returned to us. $2000.00 is a lot of money. I just want our money back! We decided to not purchase from them, but in no way should our money be held hostage because of that.

      In June of 2020 we purchased a camper from Camping World of Grand Rapids. The first time we used it we found a number of item to not be in working order, including the oven, electric ****, and heat and massage sofa. We immediately contacted camping world and they arranged for us to drop off for service at the end of the season in the fall of 2020. When we arrived to pick up our camper in May of 2021, items had not been repaired and the sofa had been replaced with a significantly smaller model. We spoke to staff in service and they agreed to keep the camper for further repairs. At the time we requested our original sofa back. We were told it was on-site and could not be returned until the work orders were closed. In June, when we received our camper back, things were still not fixed. We again scheduled for service at the end of the season in fall of 2021. When we dropped off we reminded the staff that we wanted our sofa and were declining the replacement. This was communicated verbally and through email on multiple occasions. In March of 2022, we again went to pick up our camper. We asked if our sofa had been placed back in the camper. It was at that time we were notified that it had been destroyed, despite our request that it be returned. We spoke to the general manager, *******************, who said he would try to get a replacement but at the time could offer a sofa from his floor so we would have something. The sofa provided did not have the features our original had and was not a sufficient replacement but we took it at the urging of Rod and his word that he would try to "do right" by us. A month later upon follow-up Rod offered us $800. We researched the original sofa and found it's original value to be approx. $1,759. We found a similar sofa by the same manufacturer for approx. $1,800. Rod has refused to appropriately compensate us for the sofa that was destroyed by his staff. We are seeking monies in the amount of $1,800 to purchase an in kind replacement ourselves.
