      I initially met with *************************** at the matchmaking location on ******** in ************ they second week of April. I was given false information that I would receive matches that had been highly background checked and screened. As well as specially picked for me. I was presented with an initial package that was $6000+ dollars. I told her I thought it was too high and were there any other options? She basically said no but what can you pay. We settled on $2500. I had one date with someone who was very polite, but not a match. The second person they gave my contact information to was not a match and did not meet any of the criteria that I specified on my application. The person was very aggressive was a smoker (which was a dealbreaker in my application) non-educated and not successful. This person also shared with me that he was offered a $500 package, an option that was not at all presented to me. After this encounter, I asked for my money back. She said that was not an option, but they would give me credit for that match and not count it towards my six matches.Last night I received a phone call from someone that could not even speak properly or carry on a conversation. I certainly dont want to belittle someone that *** have a disability, but it is clear at this point they are just tossing any person at me with no regards to my profile specifications. I am reading on their website several reviews that people have not found their match and have not been happy. I strongly feel like there should be a trial period of time in which you could receive some of your money back. This has been a very terrible experience for me and I feel like I was definitely misled.

      The understanding with this company is that I would be matched with at least four matches. I have on been sent one match and we never met up due to his poor quality in character(this was said to not count as we never met up. Since then I have not had any actual matches. I have tried to reach out several times and left voicemails, not a one call was returned. I am seeking a full refund as they have not held up their contract.

We feel she has not been honest. According to our records, we signed ***** on 6/23/21 and she was matched on 6/28/21-with Kye. She was matched again on 7/26-with Robert, 8/2-with Beau, 10/19-Tim, 10/27-Bill. She was sent a QBQ in September stating quality before quantity. So during the time she signed on, we have been keeping in touch and We do not have record of any voicemails left by *****. Our hours of operation have been flipped to coordinate training with new employees. We will proceed with new hours 9:30-6:30 starting next week. ***** has not spoken with any of our membership services reps regarding her dismay and is not using our services properly. upon enrollment, ***** understood there are no refunds warranted whatsoever. We feel she may have prejudged the match just by speaking to him on the phone. The process only works if they meet in person. We are unclear why she is stating she has been matched once when our records state she's been sent 4. A client can easily sabotage their membership by misjudging. Members are explained that its up to both members to contact the other to set up time to meet. She should contact our membership services rep by phone call so we can assist her in turning things around to get her membership back on track. I wouldn't waste my time if I have had matches. I tried to call today and no response, you recently emailed me and I asked for a response and no reply. You sent me one match that I brought back to you and stated that it would not work- you stated that it would not count as we never met up. You clearly don't have matches that match my criteria as the matches your referring to are clearly ones that are not within the criteria I asked to remain with in. I don't want to be matched with sixty year old men, im half that age. Your not doing your job and your not communicating. Your the dishonest ones. Look at how many complaints you have not only on BBB but in all of your reviews. You ladies have become professional liars. I'm waiting on you to hold up your end. You clearly told me that Kyle, Beau, and I have no clue who Tim is would not count as WE NEVER MET Up. If you are now changing that,I want every dealing going forward to be put in writing. I no longer have faith in you, I have no trust in you so you need to step it up and be honest and forthcoming with me going forward. Start by answering the phone for god sakes, how difficult is that? I have all of my phone records if you want to say I never left voicemails.it's funny because it's the same number where you received my request to talk more about Kye but now all of a sudden you haven't received my voicemails. This shouldn't be this hard! This should be enjoyable! I shouldn't be frustrated and without communication.You have to at some point take a look at your complaints and see what to common denominator is, YOU DONT HAVE A BIG MATCH DATABASE! Be upfront with people so they can make a sound decision. Don't lie then send them matches just to say I sent you matches. Why have me take a five page personality test if all your going to do is overuse that and send me the exact opposite. How is that okay? It's not, you clearly have been doing this for quite some time so I would guess you know what your doing, but you come off as amateurs who talk a great sales pitch and leave you with nothing. We were hoping this meeting would come to resolution but she did not appear for our scheduled meeting. we called ***** to see if we can reschedule this meeting and is currently awaiting for her call back.

      On June 1st, I issued a check to Matchmaker for $3,995.00. I received five matches (June 3rd, June 16th, June 28th, July 7th, and August 3rd). They suddenly stopped after August 3rd. I sent four emails (beginning on September 5th, September 10th, September 13th, and September 22nd) explaining a financial emergency that had come up in my life and that I needed to know about selling back the rest of my matches, which was part of the service I paid for. I have received no communication from them at all and no refund. I warned in my last attempt to contact them that I was going to report them if I received no response. I do need to receive a refund at this point. At the very least, for the matches that I had remaining. That should still come out to a couple thousand dollars. Thank you very much!
