Every seam in the ceilings of my home are showing. I have had the inspector back to ensure there are no other issues contributing. Other dry wall companies are telling me it is due to poor finishing or incorrect products used. In every room in my home, the ceilings need to be fixed. Quotes are over $14k without painting, moving out while it is completed, moving furniture, etc. He was notified shortly after the issue. He fixed one small area, but when the rest started to happen refused to fix. I have tried to reach him but he must have blocked my number. It has continued to get worse. He stated my trusses are moving and that was the issue. I had the inspector out, and he has assured me that this is not the case. Damages would be seen in other areas of the home as well as the drywall. He had not seen anything like it, and took it upon himself to face time with two other drywall companies. Both very reputable, and both stating it is either poor workmanship or incorrect materials. Please feel free to talk with Mike from the Montcalm building department. He did 13K of work on my home as well as my insulation for another 12+K I had to have him back to redo the insulation because it did not meet the minimum requirements. He did come back and fix up to standard, however my drywall was put up poorly. I have had several other drywall people over to see about fixing it, and they all have said it was very poor workmanship, and the seams were not taped or mudded enough. He has had over a year to fix, but at this point it will be thousands to fix, because I have led lights, big crown molding, and a special texture that makes it difficult to match up. He has refused to fix, probably because of the cost of it!
