They advertise a product on the internet and I purchased the product and receipt of the purchase in my email. I then received a phone call the following day saying they cannot sell me the item for that price on my receipt and credit card and are requiring me to pay more money for the item. I said no, they advertised the product and I bought it, I have a receipt, they have my credit card information and now they claim they cannot sell it for what it is advertised at and request I pay more. I have screen shots of their web site listing the product, I have my receipt of purchase and I have an email from them thanking me for the purchase. They now want more money, I think this is illegal advertising, switch and bait, or not ethical in any event.

      Customer ordered a demo ******* ******** ** *** ******* ****** *** *** ** ********* ** ***** for $247.00 from our website.

This unit was to be sold at $1247.00 but a pricing error was made when the product was put on the website for sale by our data entry employee.

We contacted the customer informing him of the error and offered him the price of $1099.00 for the unit.  The customer felt we were using a bait and switch tactic.

We did state to him our current terms of sale in the FAQs of our website specifying that in the event of a product listed incorrectly on our website ***** *********** shall at its sole discretion have the right to refuse and/or cancel any order  and immediately amend or correct the error.

      ************************************

      Terms of Sale
All sales are made subject to, and shall be governed solely by, the laws of the ***** ** ********, without regard to conflicts of laws principles, and any disagreement, dispute, suit, action or proceeding arising out of or relating to any sale shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the ***** ** ******** located in **** ****** and the ****** ****** ******** ***** for the ******* ******** ** ********. By submitting an order, a customer irrevocably consents to the jurisdiction of any such court in any such suit, action or proceeding and to the laying of venue in such court, and the customer irrevocably waives any objection to the laying of venue in such courts and to any claim that the forum is inconvenient.

Consequently, AudioAdvisor.com will not be held responsible for product revision changes.
Audio Advisor reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order, at any time.

The price of the product was amended with the correct pricing upon discovery.

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: They advertised the product and I purchased the product, I received an invoice for the purchase and expect the delivery of the product they had advertised. I do not agree they can, at will change the advertised offer. If they had made an error they need to step up an accept responsibility for their actions, it is a business expense and should be handled with an ethical response. Why do they not accept responsibility for their error if so they made it not me. Overring a new price to me is a reflection of their error, so they need to stand up an accept their error and honor the invoice they had provided to me for the purchase of this item.

      Sincerely,

      ****** ******
