I owed money on a meijer credit card and was behind cause I lost my job .. I finally paid them off completely and they kept my credit report bad for 8 months after they were paid off pertaining to their report .. it would have stayed on there longer if I didnt notice it on my credit report that did big damage to me I want compensation for this tactic they did to meReview from Kitty S

Raw thawed chicken advertised as "fresh" is false information! Ice still on chicken has obviously been frozen. Raw meat is not synonymous with fresh. This must be addressed by someone with authority. A chain this large shouldn't be exempt from responsible advertising.Review from Asia C

As a former pharmacy employee of three years, I was so shocked at the treatment I received when I told the *** Store Director, and District Manager that the current pharmacist had given me in a span of three months. The harassment I received when I told them I didn't want to work a shift the pharmacist was going to force me to work, and I told them I had a mental condition. The emotional distress I went through when I worked harder than anyone else to keep the complaints from flooding on us and in the end, manipulated me and told me I wasn't a team player. The ** took the Pharmacist manager's word when he only worked there for 3 months, at the time. I told them I had FMLA and they told me I had to make up the days when I told them I couldn't on days I had a pre-planned event. The store *******************************. I would never recommend anyone to work there, not even my worst enemy. Not as long as *********************** (Pharmacist) and ************************* (she switched up on me when I told her the issue) work there. They need to demote their title from Family-Owned Business to Vampire-Owned Business. The way they mentally drained me and walked me out the door as if I was the issue.Review from beverly b

I bought two bathroom rugs and they are coming a part I called the Bloomingdale store and was told I could return then with a receipt. I have the receipt when I went to the store I was told no returns on anything over three months old. They are defective all the strings are coming out. No where on your receipt or in the store does it say 90 days only. These are bathroom rugs not a high traffic area. I noticed that you no longer sell them, I wonder why?? I was treated rude by both male gentleman.Review from Jason R

My family and I separately spend a lot of money at this store. However, over the years a number of issues have occurred to which no one has demonstrated any care or concern over. Most recently I personally contacted the corporate office with a complaint. I was in the store attempting to purchase an item that was listed as on sale. It rang up for a different price. I asked for assistance and was taken to where the sale item was. I was told that it was not the item. I pointed at the item brand, and the posted sale sign and iterated it was the product listed. I was told again that it was not the item, and then in front of me the individual removed the sale signs stating "it was a mistake." I received no apology for the confusion, and was insulted that a staff member would insinuate I cannot read a posted sign. Recently I returned to the store and noted that the sale signs were back up, posted again for the item. I was extremely disgusted and asked to speak to a manager. The same individual who insinuated I was wrong came to assist me. I questioned the individual on the sale and was told that "the item was placed in the wrong location, thank you" and the individual walked away. This was a proverbial brush off, and it communicated to me that even management has no customer service skills or value of their returning customers. I questioned the individual why the signs were re-posted and got no response. Incidentally, in response to my initial report to corporate I was told store management would respond to resolve the issue. I got ZERO response indicating the lack of value of customers seems to be a top down issue. Family of mine have also gotten zero response on their concerns from management further iterating the lack of concern. I will be looking for alternative options for my shopping.Review from Christine L

We are mostly happy with the store and we like quite a few of their employees, but however, this evening we had to deal with a store director who seemed to have mental health issues and almost made me feel threatened. We were walking through an isle, and heard him yelling at his employees that he had to close a gate. As we got to the gate to exit the isle, he closed the gate right in our face, locking us and some other customers up in the isle. We were confused why we were locked and we had to find our way out of the area. Afterwards, I went to him and asked him why he closed the gate in our face and it seemed rude, he immediately got aggressive and said "are you done yet?" with a look as if he was gonna physically attack me. Then he followed me and pretended to be talking to security over the phone (I found out about that because when I left the store the security guy had no clue what happened), as well as murmuring to himself something like "the guy outside of the store is a police officer. I could blah blah blah". To be honest, I am not annoyed, but rather more confused and concerned about my personal safety given how bizarre the situation was, so I figure it is a good idea to write this review for people's beware.Review from Katherine S

Shopped at Cascade and Manager "Mike" and employee "abby b" assumed my son of stealing. He is a 14 year old mixed kid who was doing nothing but helping me shop. When I confronted both parties, they acted as though they were talking about something else but they were standing right next to us and I could hear them talking about my son. I ended up leaving a 300.00 order in the check out due to their condesending actions. We will NOT be going back because of Manager Mike and his employee Abby B. I have family who works at the same store and am on a first named basis with close to 50% of the employees. Mike and Abby are racist and disgusting people preying on a 14 year oldReview from Denise H

Meijer's does care at all about there customers. There corporate offices do not try to help you with anything. I call to try to buy something I bought there for years and when you talk to the managers they don't fight to get the product back in the stores. If they are have problems with a vendor they should not give up until they get the product back. And the corporate office should explain the problem so you can understand what the manufacturer is telling me.Review from Julie L

I have brought to the attention of a store manager that their meat is never packed with the blood pad yet here I have still bought ground beef from Meijer and there's nothing on the bottom to soak up the blood therefore if you didn't cook it freeze the entire family pack it's BROWN within 2 days!
