I enrolled in Priority Health insurance plan on January 1, 2021. I went online to their website and found a clinic and doctor to enroll in which is **** Health Clinic on ***********************************. I chose a doctor which I thought was in the hmo or ppo for Priority health. I have an outstanding balance in the amount $3850.89 that Priority health is refusing to pay because now they are telling me the Dr. *** is out of the network. Prior to this bill I also had an outstanding bill at **** health that Priority health was already refusing to pay. But I choose the doctor from their website. I called and spoke with an representative if Priority health 2 weeks ago and was assured that I was covered and the bill would be paid because Dr. *** is out of Network. I cannot afford to pay a bill over $3,000 dollars. Please help!

Five months after our daughter was born, we received a bill from Priority Health because they wouldn't cover her hospital bill. They claimed there was a law in ******** that newborn babies must enroll on their mother's insurance. PH failed to let us know of this when we initially enrolled her, which was their job to do so. In addition, they have failed to tell us which specific law this is, and then they changed their story saying this is a priority health policy. Both my insurance, and the hospital of my daughter's birth, have repeatedly told us that they have never heard of such a law. They also agree that Priority Health could be scamming my new family. Please investigate.

Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2021/10/04) */ HIPAA Authorization Forms can be found on Priority Health's website in the Member Center through the following link: ***************************************************************************** Consumer Response /* (4200, 11, 2021/10/08) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Please provide a free form of this PDF directly to me so I can sign it easily. The form on your website is not accessible. It seems very strange that Priority Health doesn't want to make this easy for my family. They really want to steal $5000 from a new family. Shame on them. Consumer Response /* (-5, 13, 2021/10/11) */ Hi Stacy, I could not access the HIPAA forms provided by Priority Health. Can someone contact them and send me one that I can easily edit on the computer? It seems very suspicious that they don't want to make this process easy for my new family. Thanks, ****** Business Response /* (4000, 14, 2021/10/12) */ Priority Health understands Ms.********** concern; however, federal and state privacy laws prohibit the release of member information without the individual's expressed consent. The below link to Priority Health's HIPAA Form was provided previously and may still be utilized. Unfortunately, this response format does not allow documents to be attached electronically. 7 months ago I had a medical procedure, I still have outstanding non-paid medical bills. I have contacted both ******** and *************** and neither have come to a consensus on resolving the issue. I'm now in debt collections and getting phone calls and mail asking me for payment. *************** just now informs me to file a aggrievement? This is a lack of there responsibility not mine, *************** still takes my money every month but doesn't pay my bills. This is unacceptable behavior that needs attention.
