It looks like they charged us a rescheduling fee of $100 the total cost was $150 cash every other appointment where the same thing that took place happen cost $50 cash We should not of been charged a rescheduling fee for showing up at the original time we made the appointment because we never consented to the updated time that the Dr. ****** rescheduled the appointment for on the same day we were texted by this ****** us to confirm the original 4:00 p.m. time. Furthermore it is a illegal to charge a rescheduling fee to a child on a ******** funded plan that the ********************** at **** Foot and Ankle P.C. is in contract and in network to accept. I received a statement for an emergency room visit (two different portions for hospital and professional charges) on 2-13-22 from ******** Health before they became Corewell health. Based on that statement my professional charges were $257.99. I recently received another bill for professional charges that added another $28.11. I have spent about 10 hours over the past 4 weeks going between my insurance and the hospital billing to figure this out. The first finding was that the bill I paid included a chart for a CT Scan of the Thorax, which I did not have. The hospital has now told me twice that it has been removed, but I still haven't been refunded what I am do and I'm still not clear why I have a balance when the balance given (for procedure codes *****, *****, and *****) was paid on 2-22-23.

I am rejecting this response because It is still in process to be resolved. I have been told steps have been taken (though I have been told this in the past) and I'm satisfied with what I have been told right now, but It is not over. I also want to keep this complaint on file because it seems to be a constant issue with this company.

      Sincerely,

Corewell financial department asserts that I owe a balance of $43.68 that United Healthcare had remitted by EFT transaction #************, ************, ************ all of which cleared by 5/12/23. Also a pending amount of $14.56 EFT transaction # ************ which cleared 7/26/23. All of this information was given me by UHC CSR first name ************ shared that they have this information. Also that it's their responsibility to verify this. Not mine. That there's a provider phone number ************** for that specific purpose. They maintain that they have no proof of payment. That it's my responsibility. Appears to be an attempt to be paid twice. Possibly a creative attempt to balance bill. Note that this provider also accepts ******** assignment.I informed them of this via phone and email. Each time was a invincible response that it's my responsibility. Given that it has been paid I view this to be a dishonest practice.

I received an absorbently large bill from Spectrum health after being taken to their ER. The price that I was charged was based on the hospital rates of Corewell Health (Spectrum Health). The problem with this bill is that they have charged an amount that I am expected to reimburse when their insurance company that they own called priority health does not even reimburse 1/3 of it. I am asking for a reconsideration of the bill to be reduced to the level of which they would reimburse any other provider for the services they themselves rendered. Attached is the providers fee scheduled as well as the comparison in what I was charged and what their own insurance company reimburses. I am a low-middle class single man that make to much for their financial assistance but based on the bills that I have such as a mortgage, car payment, groceries, among other repairs, this cost is prohibitive and unsustainable. Additionally, other stressors are that my mom just died which was were this payment was coming from to pay core well (spectrum health). I am asking that a fair assessment of the charges that follow even the level in which they are willing to pay another provider is considered. I do not have any money to pay this bill at the amount that it is currently at and am asking for a reduction not even to the provider reimbursed rate but enough that I could pay. I am currently ineligible for food stamps, do not qualify for ********* and do not have health insurance. I am asking that a billion dollar business consider a reduction that they can use as a right off anyways. I am not a wealthy man, nor am I frugal. If I could pay this, I would, but I cannot due to the amount that was taken from me in the divorce and the other fees and support that I now have to provide for my mothers funeral and my wife's spousal support. I do not qualify under the financial assistance with spectrum due to my income being above the threshold, and this month I only $38 in my checking and savings. Please

They are billing me for services they never provided and they would not allow me to record my call so I could remember what was said when inquiring about the bill. I am disabled and have memory disabilities as well as others. I use a recorder so I clearly remember everything. I ask for this as a disabled person. I feel this is fraud since I never had any scalp injury.

Corewell Health, formerly Beaumont, incorrectly coded my annual physical and is incorrectly charging me for services that my insurance provider covers. They tried to get me off the phone multiple times telling me that I needed to talk to my doctor or insurance company. I confirmed with both my Doctor and the ***************** *********** blue shield) that the issue was with Corewell's billing codes being done incorrectly. Now they will not pick up or return my call and are forcing me to hang up the phone without being able to leave a voicemail even though their system prompts you to leave a voicemail.Corewell is clearly incentivized to not resolve these issues - if resolving these issues were good for Corewell's profitability, they would actually perform their duties.
