Not a good lawyer/attorney. Likes money but not his clients. I agree with the other 3 reviews. Hire someone with a higher rating than 3.7. My first time "criminal case" he charged me $1,500. Worst $1,500 spent. I could have bought my own cactus cheaper and put it in my butt. Just like it felt like he did. No representation for the client whatsoever. I left him a long detailed Google review as well. This whole charge was a misunderstanding and I tried to explain that several times to him and he didn't care. Judge and PA didn't care either. Glad my house has money to give me because I now have to hire an appeals lawyer for $15,000 + dollars.

Very unfortunate that this client does not fully understand the great plea deal that I negotiated for her with the prosecutor, and kept her out of jail. She is rather immature and makes rash decisions, and cannot control her emotions, which is what got her in trouble in the first place. She has no valid appeal.Review from John O

Unfortunately, Mr. **** had a very poor prior history with the judge/referee, even before I began representing him. During the hearing , the referee felt that Mr. ***** had lied and/or been untruthful and tried to mislead the court.Review from Carolyn L

Hired John D to represent my son in a criminal case. Paid the fee for trial and the case never made it to trial. I previously have been communicating with him, I have been communicating with him on numerous occasions with no answer from involving the case. I fired as the attorney and tried on numerous times to get my money back. I am still waiting. This happened between July 2023-April 2024.Danian Law Office Response

I represented ************** son fairly, professionally and competently in all aspects of his case. Her son picked up new criminal charges after I represented him on his first criminal case, and I was not given authorization to discuss all of the details of the case with **********. All moneys were used in the representation of her son. There is no refund owing.Review from Hannah H.

Mr. John D is a money hungery lawyer. He never returned my phone calls or text messages. Forged my signature on papers I have never seen. Told the courts i gave him permission to quit which i did not. Completely sided with the other party and made me look like a liar and an idiot. never sent any court documents or papers, still haven't received any hardcopies. Never told me about court hearings until the day before. would 100% not recommend this lawyer to anyone with a child custody/ parenting time case. all he will do is make you look like the bad guy, and steal your money!Danian Law Office Response

The comments by Ms. ***** are unfounded and untrue. I represented Ms. Harris fairly and professionally in all aspects of her case. Anyone that is interested in what really happened can obtain a public transcript of her case from Barry County. The attorney rules of professional conduct and responsibility prevent me from commenting specifically about the details of her case.
