I parked in the Ellis Parking lot at the *************** on ***** in ************ on Saturday, February 11, 2023. Upon exiting at the ***** exit at 6:30 pm the electronic kiosk/gate it said I had to pay a $2 charge offering to accept payment with credit card or cash. I inserted $10 at which point the display said the kiosk could not give me change and directed me to check with an attendant. No attendant was available at this exit so I went to the main exit and found no attendant there. The receipt clearly showed I was owed $8 and said for help or questions call ************. I called the number at 6:34 pm and received the message that I must call back during normal business hours.Ellis Parking is using their electronic kiosks to collect cash from customers even when they are unable to distribute change. After collecting the cash they leave their customers no way to receive their change, having the same effect of using deceptive practices to steal from their customers.My receipt details are:P/S #**, T/D #**, A Payment No. ********, Entry time 2/11/23 17:44, Exit Time 2/11/23 18:30, Charge Amount $2, Cash Amount $10, Short Amount $8.
