If I could give 0 stars I would! We moved into our new house and 3 days later the entire downstairs flooded. We called this company for clean up, because they were the first that popped up, and have regretted it ever since. They basically charge you for every step they take and every item they touch. We were charged over $100 for them to move our washer and dry less than a foot off the wall. blocking and padding the furniture in the room (furniture that they also said they would cover and protect never covered and then actually damaged) cost us almost $100 for just 6 pads and extra because it was after hours. They have an estimating program that just accumulates all these costs and our insurance caps out at a certain number. They were not up front at how much these things would actually cost, they give you a blank paper to sign basically saying it will cost what is costs. It just seems like an astronomical number for not a lot of service. They made us feel like we HAD to do all these things. We also had quite a few items missing and unaccounted for after they left. would not recommend. We talked to the business and after weeks of back and forth they finally told us there is absolutely nothing they can do about the cost. We will be getting a second opinion for our insurance company, but it's looking like we will end up paying almost 10K for about 4K worth of work. Really sad that they take advantage of people who are in distress.

I am truly sorry you feel this way about the company. We have spoke with your husband on a few occasions and the invoice has been reviews and looked over by management as well as your adjuster and was approved for payment. We use the same programs the insurance company uses which has its own price list. The price list is a average price in the area of your home. Xactimate takes the high price in your area and the low price and finds a average price. I also spoke with your husband and we are compensating you for the dresser that was scuffed up as soon as receipt is sent over. We are not here to take you for granted as we want the best for our customers. As far as items missing that is something our company takes very serious as we do not ever accept theft. As I told your husband I can ask if anything was put in a different area then your contents or if it was thrown away because it was affected. When we are done with a job we take all affected contents to the dump and dispose of them right away. If you have nay further concerns feel free to contact me at the office so it can be resolved.
