On or around 4/8/2024 we had an issue with our bath tub and sink backing up. We contacted Roto-Rooter to come out to clear the jam. A few days after the jam was cleared I noticed leaking coming onto my living room ceiling. I contacted Roto-Rooter and they came out and discovered the prior technician didn't tighten up a nut. They fixed the issue and the leak they caused has stopped. Roto-Rooter sent out their restoration team to assess how much damage they caused. They found around a 12' by 10' section of my plaster ceiling where water had made its way to. Roto-Rooter then refused to call me with any updates or next steps. After multiple calls back into their office I was finally told by their office manager **** that they will not be fixing the ceiling. I'm now left with their mess to figure out how to fix. Key facts: no leak prior to clog. after clog water leak caused a lot of damage.

Company came to fix problem of loose faucet . Fixed but knocked something looses under kitchen and now sink leaks . On 1/424 Initially said they would come and repair it without cost between **** and **** on 1/5/24. Called at **** on 1/5/24 because no one came . They said thats because the repair person only tightened the faucet and if we wanted them to come back it would be $99 . I said it was unprofessional not to call and really unprofessional to try to charge me for their mistake . I will have another plumbing company fix it.

We didn't perform services on the sink so we won't be able to reimburse for the tightening of a bolt causing leaking because that realistically isn't the cause of the leak. Also, the amount on the ticket is ****** not 200.00

Aug.2022 I found a leak in my bathroom and called Roto Rooter. They came out, estimated $3000-3500 to repair. They cut a hole in the bathroom floor and the basement ceiling directly below to dry out from the leak. When all was deemed dry, they sealed up the bathroom floor but did nothing for the basement ceiling. As I had filed a homeowner's claim, they were dealing with my insurance adjuster. In May I was served papers that they were suing me for almost $4800. In a knee-jerk reaction, I immediately sent them a check for the full amount, with a note saying I thought they were working directly with my insurance co. Afterwards I contacted my insurance company and found they had sent a check for over $3700 last October and it was cashed in Nov. I called Roto Rooter and explained what had happened and asked them to refund me the overpayment. All I have heard from them is a copy of the form for the dismissal of the lawsuit. I have never received a bill from them. Had they sent one last fall when they received payment from the insurance company, this would have been resolved before the end of the year. I want an invoice showing the breakdown of the charges, a refund for the overpayment and an explanation as to why they didn't address the hole in the basement ceiling.

      Good afternoon,

We have sent the home owner a check for the reimbursement for the overpayment as well as a break down of all charges. The insurance company should be followed up with for the *********************** for the hole. That is not a service we provide but one that is covered by her policy.
