I went to get an oil change 6/16 and when I went to pay, I noticed the price was a lot more than I typically pay. I was then told by an employee named Aspen that my air filter was really dirty (despite me not having my car very long and purchasing it new) and that she just went ahead and took care of it for me. I was never shown what the filter looked like nor was I asked if I wanted to replace it. However, they had no issue charging me extra for it. Its frustrating to come into a dealership having to immediately be on guard and situations like this are proof as to why I feel I need to be.Initial Complaint

I purchased a new 2014 Subaru with a CVT transmission from Fox Subaru. My car now has 85k miles on it. I just found out that there was an extended warranty issued by Subaru in 2018, for the transmission. For up to 10 years/100k miles. I had the transmission gasket replaced by a third party several months ago. If I would have been informed of the warranty, I would have taken my vehicle to Fox. Now my transmission is acting up. I guess because the auto shop didn't use Subaru transmission fluid. I'm seeking reimbursement of the cost for the original service, and the cost of the replacement fluid/flush. Or that the warranty be honored. I'm seeking a TIMELY RESOLUTION, since my transmission can be damaged.
