I agreed to pay $625 a month for the boarding and care of 1 horse. In April, I spoke with the owner, *********************, about changing to a lower costing board. He agreed verbally on the phone to move my horse to a pasture-board spot for $400 monthly. Staff and/or *** never moved my horse so I paid $400 in cash on the first of May, June, and July. In late July, I received the first bill stating I owe the difference because they didn't move her. This is the first bill I received. I was never spoken to or contacted during June or July to know there was an issue. I didn't get the change in writing and *** is hiding behind his contract. I arrive to remove my horse from the property, so I wouldn't incur more debt to find her padlocked in her stall. This is borderline neglect. I then offered to make a payments which was declined by ***. My living animal is suffering for the dishonest and sneaky business dealings with ******* Farms and *********************. I have been contacted by others stating he routinely does this type of thing while running his business. He states that she will remain locked in her stall until he receives full payment. Due to him not informing me of the new bill each month, I have racked up too much for me to pay and he allows my horse to suffer. Him, his businesses, and his political role NEED to be investigated.
