FRAUD SELLING FAULTY VEHICLES! ~>extended review the first portion Im writing is what was posted in a ****** review I made on July 2nd after the dealership refused to follow through with dealership 100% promise/warranty! After their warranty company denied coverage because of their mistake! This is a continued and reposted review because after I posted it the cowardly manager *** threatened to not help ATTEMPT to fix my car until I removed the ****** review! And still made me wait 30 days to file a claim through my close to $3000 paid by me extended warranty! Should we trust crown motors cars!? I got my car off the wholesale lot in *******,mi !!!! First when I brought the car in the service contract was not even yet signed and turned in yet so they (CROWN) did not even have my warranty active yet making it look bad!Hours after it being there they tell me they have to wait to get it active before sending in claim. So they sent that in on the 25th!Active the 26th!I bought the car on 7th!! Got update from dealership service center yesterday the warranty company denied the claim claiming them as pre existing conditions!!! So who knew this car had transmission and transfer case failure before it was sold to me!?! Anyone with words of advice please reach out to me! I just got this car on the 7th and they are trying to s**** me I have too many kids and too many bills to not have a car on top of an auto loan I gotta pay for a car I cant drive!Continued. My extended warranty also denied transmission replacement due to pre existing conditions note this means the dealership has to have known the transmission was bad before selling it to me! Trans fluid dark with metallic pieces floating around in it would be very noticeable! Did they not send in their warranty paperwork because they knew!? Either way my contract states that the DEALERSHIP will cover 100% of labor and cost of parts within the warranty period and refused to replace my transmission or take back the sale!

This place is the worst for customers. They sell junk but polish it up as perfect and when you go back to them to fix things they ignore you for months, and then say that youve had it too long so now all the problems with the car are your fault. They are rude and ugly to people after the purchase is made. They are liars as well. Cannot be trusted.

These people are really difficult to work with. I was told they would buy my vehicle. I said it aside for over a week while they continually come up with excuses as to why they couldnt come and buy the vehicle. It was a complete disarray trying to figure out how to pay me, coordinate picking up the vehicle, Etc. I would rather deal with scabies than these people.

I am devastated with the decision I have made buying a car with Crown Motors Holland. I am a young girl who thought I was ready to find my first car alone without the help of my parents. I decided to go with a ********************************************************************** love with the way it drove. On 4/16 I came back to the dealership with a check from my bank ready to buy the car. The drive back home was nice I spent a week looking for this car so it was nearly 45 minutes away from my home. I was so intrigued to get back to work per say I drive for my job. The car drove perfectly for work 245 miles exact. The next day 4/17 I turn on my car I see a warning light indicating that the coolant level is low and the engine light was on. I immediately called my local auto repair *************** to inform him of the issue he told me to bring the car up there on the next business day 4/18. My mechanic put the car under inspection and could not find any visual leaks he also put it under a pressure tester. When I picked my car up he informed me that the total cost would be $70 for replacing the windshield wipers and refilling the coolant level. The engine light cut off. I drove the car for 2 days for work 318 miles and the coolant level went right back low. I took the car to my local mechanic and he told me that he still could not find a leak and he believes that it could be a head gasket but he couldnt determine that. I took the car back to crown motors. **** test drove my car and told me to bring it back to service a few days later. Crown motors made me pay $273 for a pressure pump to be fixed. I drove the car 120 miles and the coolant was back low. I brought the car back to crown motors and it has been in service for the past 2 weeks. I am now being informed the $9,129.01 has been turned into $2,000. I am stuck without a car and I have been financially unstable for the past month due to not being able to go to work because of this issue.

Robbing me of my vehicle is just the first thing. They've had it for months. Left it in their care with trust that they'd formulate a solution. Only for them to continue to deny the vehicle of proper service and myself with the confidence of customer service and responsibility and respect. Reported to them their own prior work done has led to the downfall of the jeep working properly and yet still after several, several weeks, they haven't done anything to fix it. Just want myself with whom has not any vehicle to get this jeep removed from their facility. It's still not fixed. Do not put trust in these guys. They'll rob you of your dignity and your property.

We are sorry to hear about this inconvenience for you. Almost one year ago the recall was performed and was not related to the current part failure that this customer is experiencing. We are happy to repair the vehicle at a discounted price and our service manager, Derek has been in direct contact with the customer. We would still like to help resolve the situation with the customer and would like to continue the conversation.

As I do appreciate the time a Crown Motors representative took to comment on my review submission; unfortunately, I fear by the sounds of that comment, this can only result in further disappointment on their part, no matter the discussion Crown Motors might intend on having with me. As I've indicated, if Crown Motors read my initial review submission, they would know that the jeep became problematic overtime, due to the nature of the job done on my jeep due to a required recall being addressed and since it taking place and the job done on the jeep, it had become increasingly difficult in terms of starting. The work itself done by Crown Motors was not done with complete professional care but aside from that, the continued denial from them they had anything to do with the jeep's non-performance which is even further insult; overall, it resulted the jeep not working properly. period. The jeep began with not starting intermittently at first but increased overtime to the effect that it was a gamble whether it would start at all in time for me to make it on time anywhere at anytime. The recall was
addressed by Crown Motors in which they had mishandled the overall treatment of my vehicle which in turn has corrupted the overall performance. My jeep commander had not had any problems prior to Crown Motors involvement within the recall process. And now, supposedly the starter is the issue. $495 worth of a starter and labor I suppose. That was what I was last told by Derrick from Crown Motors. Which I believe sounds like a bit much. And still they are not acknowleding the real issue and refusing to take responsibility.
My jeep did not have prior issues starting; it began after Crown Motors handled any work done on it by their mechanics. I have and will always stand behind that fact. Thank you.
