ProPride, Inc. engaged in hiding truthful reviews from customers that disclosed true facts about a hitch product called a Lot Bar with Locking Plate. I submitted a concern via the company's website: "Tuesday, April 05, 2022 7:58 PM Why is it that I cannot see the 21 Reviews for the ProPride 30 Hitch Lot Bar with Link Locking Plate???" Only four reviews were visible. After being subjected to condescending remarks regarding my skills or lack thereof, by the President, he kept me engaged in email conversation long enough to un-filter the 17 reviews that I could not see even though the website clearly indicated there were 21 reviews. I consider it dishonest and deceptive to filter critical reviews. If I had known a $272.00 product was needed in order for me to use the Propride 3P Hitch, which I paid over $3,500 for, I would not have purchased it. At that price I was told I had everything needed. However, in reviews that I was finally allowed to see, reviewers had concerns. One reviewer clearly pointed out that ProPride needs to let people know up front that the Lot Bar is needed for individuals who take their trailer to dealers for repair or upgrades, and for individuals who park their trailers on a storage lot. I was called everything from delusional to incompetent. I contacted Big Commerce the service provider used by ProPride. They indicated that ProPride has the ability to pre-approve and later filter out reviews at anytime. ProPride denied they did it and I don't want to do business with a company who engages in deceptive business practices. There is an unconditional guaranteed refund but the President has done everything in his power to frustrate me from obtaining a full refund. Consumers need to be aware that this company engages in deceptive business practices and will try to renege on providing a refund if you don't seek help.
