    Buckthorne *********** **** is an unprofessional company. They do not respond timely, they lack communication skills, and fail to properly ensure that their contractors have pulled the proper permits.They do not answer the phone and when they do respond they talk in circles and do not address or provide an accurate answer.

    It is unfortunate that you chose to submit this review the day after you received an email confirming the possession of the necessary permits, by the Associations contractor. Further, it is important to remember that we had no history with this contractor; the Board-approved contract was in place prior to our taking over management of your association.It is also important to remember that any company taking over an association that has been self-managed for so long is in for a challenge. Nonetheless, we are working very hard to bring your association forward and aid in its success, as we have done with many of our properties over the past 21+ years.

    Again, it appears that you cannot handle the fact that Buckthorne Management did not do their job. You failed to ensure that Bay to Bay pulled the proper permits with the city of *********** when they first came and redid the roof in October 2022. However, your securing the permit this time does not negate the fact that you failed to do so in October 2022.The fact that you took the time to respond to this complaint shows me just how unprofessional you are and how the management company is only worried about how they look to the public. You still have failed to timely respond to my December 19, 2022 email message.Again, it you read the complaint thoroughly, it was simply about your lack thereof to respond to your customer's inquiries in a timely manner. Now that you have aired your own "dirty laundry," remember, you created the debacle by ignoring calls concerning the poor workmanship to our roof and the water damage that was caused in the interior of my condo. This was no fault on me or the co-owners of the condominium.It is partially to blame the condominium association because they did secure the contract. However, you took over all RESPONSIBILITIES concerning the condominium and its contracts. You even instructed co-owners to contact Buckthorne for all maintenance issue. Therefore, you blabbing about how you are such a wonderful business to work with is absolutely ludicrous.Please address the correct complaint if you don't want your image smeared or brought to the attention of the public. Again, you need to respond timely to our inquiries in order to facilitate a better working relationship.

    This will be my last comment on the subject.I would caution you on publicizing unfounded accusations. Permits were in fact obtained by the contractor in May 2022. Our company does NOT secure permits for any contractors.The rest is your opinion, to which you are welcome.Have a nice day.
