The ** Boosters paid a $500 deposit, to use their Banquet Services-on 2/20/20-the banquet was scheduled for 3/20/2020. The reason we cancelled b/c of COVID - and the shutdown. We have been asking for a refund ever since, and was told that a parent called and Crystal Gardens, and the parent was refunded the $500 deposit to a personal credit card. It was supposed to deposited back to the ** Booster account. I have followed up, along with other booster volunteers to help expediate a refund. Today we were told by ******* that they would not issue a refund to The ** Boosters-we would only be issued a credit towards future services, which we have no use for. This is a non profit organization - we fund raise to support the Boys Basketball program and part of the funds we raise we donate back to ********** Unified, which is a basketball program for special needs children, please help us with a refund.
