I purchased a car February 22, 2024 for $3260 out the door. They day of purchased car needed to keep getting jumped by business I asked for new battery was told a new battery was put in. While driving car cut off 3x times so I had to go buy a new battery on the same day of purchased the 22nd. when lifted up the hood noticed a s**** was in the battery to hold the cables. On the 25th check engine light came on took to get checked out was told I needed a new crankshaft. On the 27th crankshaft was replaced. On the 28th of February had to get brakes then was told needed a lower control arm. On March 13 check engine light came on again got it checked out was told a H02 sensor. April 22nd was driving the car all the sudden lost power had car towed to shop was told it was the engine. I was looking at a charge of 2700-3500 for new engine. I had to catch a ride back & forth to work and was looking around for other options. On May 11th I contacted the business I spoke to a guy I told what the problem was he stated to me he will take information have manager call I was also asked did I want another car or money back. I stated I was afraid to get another due to it being 60days and the current car went out already. On May 13th I contacted business to follow up was speaking to a lady who was rude and ******* off the phone due to her having a customer and all cars is sold as is. She stated she took my information and gave it to the owner. I visited the store to see what was going on it was three guys one was saying he talking to the owner but I couldnt then he stated owner wasnt feeling good and stated he didnt want to get fired for telling him a customer was there. Was greeted by a older guy who was rude also. Everyone at the store was very rude and nonchalant about the situation. I am out of $3260 & no car and no one cares

I finally had the money to buy myself a vehicle and go forward with my life , i went to Metro Auto Broker because they were nice and seems honest ( no ) over a couple months looking through the lot I decided to buy the escape ********************* the nearby area is a brother in law and mechanic and his business so i asked them i could take it there and have him go through it , each time they didn't have a plate handy , so i couldn't take there , they knew about the vehicle and sold it anyways , a very highly dangerous vehicle, should not have been on the lot , someone at MAB knew and probably hid the problem with foam metal strapping and duct tape. They really hurt and should be exposed .
