On Wednesday March 16, 2022 I visited Tommy's Express in Jenison for a car wash. It was about 6:10pm. As my van was being washed the truck in front of me did not move forward. (Later a worker called it a "roll back") My van continued to roll through the carwash on the track and I was pushed into the truck. I spoke with the driver of the truck and he did not have any damage or feel any impact. My van however has damage to the bumper where it hit the truck's hitch. The employee at ******* apologized for the incident. She said she was distracted or wasn't watching (something to that effect) Otherwise she would have pushed the e-stop and stopped the carwash when she noticed the truck wasn't moving. Pictures were taken, a report was filed and I was told someone would be contacting me shortly after the video was reviewed. None of that happened! I called corporate and emailed a "******* D". He gave me the name and phone number of ************************* to call. I called on Wednesday March 23. He has been gone so I left a very urgent message for another manager to call me. This also did not happen! I emailed ******* again and he told me he talked to a **** on March 25. **** was supposed to call me the next day on Saturday March 26. This again like all the other promises did not happen. It has been 2 weeks now. I have gotten no where with the local ******* or with ******* corporate. I took our van to a local body shop and it will take two days to repair. I want the repairs paid for by *******, and I want a rental car paid for to cover the two days I will be without our vehicle. I want to take my van to ****** ********* in *********** for the repairs. I would also like a refund of this month car wash plan for my inconvenience that this whole ordeal is causing. I haven't been back to the carwash since the accident.
