Contracted Prestige to fix and sealcoat two driveways. Contract was for fixing existing cracks with 'revolutionary' new product called 'ARP', which ****** said would eradicate future cracks and fill in all existing cracks before applying hot seal/sealcoating. Two driveways cost a total of $7367.18. Before completing initial application, he said he underbid the driveways and needed more money to complete... he wanted $2000 more and we reluctantly gave him $500 more to complete (red flag). Product had a warranty for one year, unconditionally. After 4 Days of application, 'product' was already drying up and flaking away like dust... contacted ****** and admitted the product did not work and would fix it, and had the same problem with several other driveways, but since it was later in the year, said he would fix the following spring. Gave him the benefit of the doubt. ****** came and contacted him again and assured me he would fix the problem. Time went on, contacted him again throughout the summer, but always had an excuse, covid, broken truck, +++, but always said he would get it done. Played on our sympathies. I told him the warranty was for 1 year and he said he would honor it and fix it as long as it took but had to find money to buy more product. I contacted him every few weeks, excuse after excuse. Continued to say he would fix... now it has been 2 years of lies. I have countless pages of texts to verify what was said. I had hope this September as he came to kill the weeds and did apply a little bit of hot rubber on the 3rd st drive in prep, but then said his truck was broke and could not complete again. Estimates now are between $15K and $50K to fix and were told if we don't fix now it will be a total loss... Also told by professionals that came for new estimates that the product used was not as we were told and was probably 'recycled' asphalt. All we want is a refund for what we paid so we can put it towards fixing it correctly. This has been very sad.
