I tried to cancel my membership, send in doctors note and all per their policy. They accepted the letter along with my key to the gym yet continue to charge. They as of now have over charged $150

      Business response

      02/08/2024

************** requested a free, early termination of his contract at the suggestion of his chiropractor. We do offer free, early cancellation if you are deemed to be PERMANENTLY disabled which is clearly stated in the contract. When i explained to ************** that i would need a doctors note verifying that he was no longer able to use the facility due to having a permanent disability, he refused. He said, and i quote, " Im not discussing my condition with you either'. When i offered to freeze the account for him, he refused that as well saying " Ill just file a report with the BBB". *** tried to resolve this with him fairly and politely and he refuses to cooperate. I even offered a refund if he could provide the proper documentation and he refused that as well.  We've done nothing wrong and will not refund. Thank you for you time.

I had used my 24 month membership at endurance fitness and once that was over i no longer wanted to use their gym as i have my own at my new apartment. Once my membership was over i inquired with the young lady at the front desk and she stated that she will get it cancelled for me. Now 9 months have passed and got charged $25 9 separate times on December 12th 2023, $49.99 1 time on December 12th and $25 one time on december 15th (after speaking to ****** at endurance about the charged i didnt authorised they charged me again). That is a total of $299.99 that i was charged. I would like a refund because i neither authorized the transactions nor did i use their services in return. I spoke to ****** and she said she would talk to "corporate" but i was under the impression that she is the owner? to me it feels like i will never be seeing my money back. She also stated that they had tried calling me and emailing me but i had not recieved one single call or email.

I went to Endurance Fitness to do month to month because it was my first time going to a gym. I signed a receipt but never any contract. I wanted to cancel the auto pay with them/ subscription to month to month and they said that I had to pay till Feb of ****. I would never.. never sign up for 2 years!! They would not email me or provide me with the policy.. membership guidelines , or the contract they said I signed. I told the front office lady that I will be having surgery soon and that I don't want my account to be charged when I am not going there. She than processed to ask me what surgery I was getting since she was quote on quote a nurse... If she was a nurse she would know that is a HIPAA violation and personal information that SHE SHOULDN'T BE ASKING customers at all!! I no longer want to go to this gym and want no more charges. I was not provided with anything I have has for and just be rudely treated.

For the last 3 months the Endurance Fitness Cleaning Women has entered in the mens locker room unannounced while members are showering, getting undresses and nude without any warning, this has been mentioned to staff but nothing ever gets done about it, I feel this is an invasion of privacy, and makes me very uncomfortable .
