Took my *** in to be serviced on July 12, 2023 due to it shutting off while driving and was told that it was the battery. After spending $350 for the battery and $167 labor fee went to pickup the vehicle and it did the exact same thing. Returned the vehicle on July 12 with same issue and was told that my PCM needed to be replaced. After waiting weeks for a replacement as the wrong part was ordered and having to pay out of pocket for a rental vehicle due to not being given a loaner vehicle I was over it. On August 30, 2023 after having my vehicle for over 2 months after calling, leaving messages and texting with no return calls, I told them I was coming to pickup the vehicle that day whether it was done or not. Then the part miraculously appeared at that time and they said theyd put in. After spending another $617 the following day the vehicle did the exact same thing. Needless to say my vehicle is still not working and I have spent well over $2000 in total for unnecessary services and vehicle rental fees. I would have been better off going to a back yard mechanic.Business response

Leased a car from Kia about 18 months ago, I'm suppose to maintain full coverage on this vehicle. Kia allowed me to leave the dealership without full coverage. Got into an accident with a deer, had damage and brought the car to Seelye KIA. I've been without a vehicle for a month, no one is giving me answers, but I've contacted a few lawyers and they say that I have a case that's easy to win, however I don't have the money to pay for a lawyer currently. I don't ever bring this up, but I'm a veteran and have enough problems from my time in the service, this has been adding to that issue.Business response

We are neither license nor have authority to enforce the types of coverage customers carry. The insurance that a customer chooses to protect their vehicle with is between their agent, Lien holder, and themselves. We have spoken to the customer and are willing to offer assistance to help in anyway we can. We are most differently willing to sit down with the customer and discuss further. Business Response /* (-10, 10, 2021/12/04) */ We have helped and assisted the customer in resolving their issue with not having insurance. we were able to work with the lien holder and the customer and get the customer into a new vehicle of His choice. we are happy that we were able to help and applaud the work between all parties to resolve this. great team effort.
