The company referred by Generac the quote and install whole home generator. Paid a $6000.00 deposit for equipment however the owner **** ***************************** failed after three attempts to install equipment. He failed to provide a proper energy audit and undersized the unit by 4Kw and did not know the correct size gas line foe the feed. He failed to notify DTE for the required Engineering Site Plan Survey which would have told him the gas meter was under sized. I had to do that and pay for the larger meter. He failed to pull the mechanical permit for the 63 run of 1.5 gas line. After the third cancellation of install date I cancelled and called a reputable installation company from *********** My CitiBank fraud department could not recover the refund he continually promised. Its now in the hands of Antrim ************************** Detective *****. He does need to be stopped from defrauding seniors. The district attorney will evaluate his actions for prosecution in Antrim County. I verified his builders license and your ******************** rating of A- prior to giving the deposit. He continues to lie via texts making good on the returned assets but Im still out $6000.00, Refuses to answer the office phone and runs his scam from a duplex off I-31 north of Elk Lake. None of the police could decide of the jurisdiction. ******* where the wire fraud occurred, Clare County where the equipment was to be installed or Macons County where I live. Their are no M.S.P. Posts near me and my need a lawyer, Destination Home Builders needs to be stopped before they defraud any more seniors!

I am rejecting this response because:the Man could not even complete an energy audit using the Generac Companys template,
He undersized the generator by **** *****, under estimated gas usage and correct size meter for house,
He failed to open a DTE Engineering Site Plan as required. Did not pull mechanical permit for gas line.
He did provide a refund! INCOMPETENT estimates are not liable!
His scam needs to come to a halt! I dont think that ******* plans on selling him further equipment. Hes damaging their brand equity!

There is nothing to reject. He has been refunded and I am thankful we did no work for this gentlemen. My condolences go out to who ever did. It cost me money as I paid the electrician his down payment and refunded the entire amount without deductions. His money has been refunded and there is no point in bantering back and forth.
