  I hired ***************** in August 2022 after my daughters were being left home alone with ** high step brother. **** never filed for discovery for my ex husband as discussed nor did she send subsequent information as asked for in email and in person meetings. **** told my husband and I that she had dropped the ball on a few things over the summer.She told us that she had a cancer scare but she was in the clear and ready to help us move forward. Now she claims she has cancer and that's why she forgot. On 9/23/23 **** sent me a discovery request from *********************** that was dated 6/9/23. I asked rose why I was just now receiving this request and that giving me this information 5 days before final trial was upsetting. **** had all documents sent to her by email on 9/25 &9/26 2023. **** never forward this information to opposing counsel and they filed a motion against me wanting me to pay their legal fees because rose sat on the request for 3 months. 9/25/2023 I filed a police report with my 12 year old daughter regarding inappropriate touching and video taping while she getting out of the shower by her 15 year old step brother at her dads. I sent her 5 emails that she replied with she was filing motions but nothing ever came to fruition. She said she did send the information then she admitted she never did because she has cancer and she forgot and has too many appointments and my case was too hard. **** should have recused herself from my case at the start of 2023 summer if she couldnt deliver on the work hired for. she has not followed through with anything including the discovery request that I have emailed her about for him since May 2023. She held up my meeting with my new lawyer because she sent my file ***** and wouldn't allow my husband to pick up the files today as promised on email. I would like a full refund as I have to start my case all over and be ready in time for the new court date in 45 days. She hurt my family and should not be practicing law.

  Thank you for forwarding this Complaint to me.  ******************* was offered a refund but the refund she demanded exceeded what she paid to my office.  ******************* has also left a misleading negative ****** review and filed a formal Complaint with the Bar association.  I am waiting for some direction from the Bar regarding her case.  I will be suing ******************* for her ****** review.  I offered her a $3,000 refund but she wanted $5,000.  After paying $1,500 for a Guardian deposit $100 for her emergency filing fee, $200 for opening her case and paying for Fed Ex to serve subpoenas. I will forgive her final invoice and refund her 1,500.00.  That amounts to almost $3,000. I also require her to withdraw her complaint and ****** review.

  I am rejecting this response because:

  Rose is an unethical lawyer and her reply is full of lies.

  Please see my attachments where she has lied and I have proof.

  I paid Mock Law $3,000 on 7/12/22 and another $3,000 on 5/20/23. I also paid my guardian deposit of $1250 on 11/14/22 to which she never filed my ex to pay half of and she never paid that herself as I wrote the check directly to the courts. Please see the canceled check.

  I did leave a ****** review and she slandered me on her ****** review that I left as well as broke attorney/client privileges by sharing my personal case information online. I will be countersueing her due to this.

  Please also see the screen shot from **** offering a $1500 refund not a $3,000 refund.

  My ****** review was true, honest and there are others on her ****** reviews who say the same thing I did. 

  ***************** my case even further by not allowing my husband to get my files on the promised date and instead Fed exing them making me cancel my new counsel meeting. Additionally she cost me $400 in printing fees for printing my files that she fedexed on a USB. 

  No one should ever go through what she has put my family through.

  Dear BBB:

   

  ***************************** has problems with being truthful.  I never once told her or her husband I dropped the ball several times.  I did miss a discovery request from opposing counsel but this issue was rectified and her case was not hurt by this. 

  I offered her a partial refund for the inconvenience.  Being late on a discovery request is not a $5,000 mistake.  ******************* is unhappy that the Guardian ad Litem has recommended equal time for dad. I cannot control this recommendation. Furthermore, ******************* has filed a grievance with the bar association, left me a terrible ****** review and she is spreading rumors throughout the community.  I have made an offer that I feel is fair. 

  I am unwilling to give her a complete refund as I worked very hard and diligently on her case. Any damage to her case is a result of her reactionary behavior. 

  ***************************** is a hateful, dishonest and unreasonable person whose behavior is incomprehensible.  

  She is harassing me every way that she can. I will refund her $1500 and forgive her final invoice.
