We have excellent insurance...Sparrow will either bill us as no insurance or over year late for office calls...our insurance pays for office calls and we are seniors...months of trying to get this fixed and it is not...and everyone tells me something different at Sparrow...even sending me a letter stating what they did for me...of which those things were not done.Doctors are wonderful...Review from Ryan K

My wife is pregnant and had to go to the ** for a possible pulmonary embolism. She was there for 8 hours and after arguing with the doctor about not wanting a CT scan due to radiation to the baby, and wanted a ** scan instead,he still ordered a CT scan and a nurse told my wife that she wouldn't get in for a ** scan for hours because he wanted her to change her mind. After talking to other nursing staff who contacted the people doing the ** scans directly, they said they had no one and she could come right back. This doctor, combined with the incompetence of the hospital as a whole, has lead me to write this and warn against using Sparrow hospital for any treatment. I would not trust them to give me a band aid.Review from Shirley B

My husband is having hip replacement surgery this morning. The will not let me in the building to be with him. Was very unhappy with care my mother received back in summer here. We will not be back to this hospital again. I had a procedure done at ******** hospital in June. And they let my husband come with me and treated us way better.Review from Ryan C

Completely and utterly appalled with the hospital, yet again. A nutritionist came in and spoke to my girlfriends 11 year old, that was there for stomach issues and told her to eat whatever she craved and that they need to look at nutrition differently and that whole food, vegetables, fruits, nuts, were not necessary and that if she wants something she should just eat it.The doctor came in shortly after and told her mother that she should not be making her child drink a smoothie that she made. Mind you the 11 year old is the one that originally wanted is and got to chose the fruits in it.The fact that "trained professionals" think that a child should choose there own food and eat whatever they want, words taken directly from them. Especially when they are having severe stomach issues is beyond me.I've had other issues with Sparrow in the past, including sitting in the waiting room while having an anaphylactic reaction to nuts and practically gasping for breath, that happened about 4 years ago.
