      Cancelled subscription three months ago and they continue to charge me. First time i call and cancelled they said they would and give the next 6 months free. the next month charge me again and i called again and they promised to cancelled and give refund. charged again this month and called again and was told by ******* that she could not fix anything and would let manager know. no refunds at any time. three straight months

      I subscribed to the *** for delivery to begin on October 2nd. I have yet to receive the paper. I have reported everyday or every other day that the paper was not delivered. I have been promised that this issue would be resolved. One of my issues is that if you advertise that you are going to be able to deliver the paper then you should indeed be able to deliver the paper. Another issue is that each time i report the missing paper i have been "promised" that the issue will be elevated to the highest level and will be resolved. It has not been resolved. I have of course been directed to the e-edition however i subscribed to the paper in order to receive the paper. If they cannot deliver the paper then i feel they should not advertise or sell the subscription.

      Lansing State Journal manages our local community newspaper which is called "Clinton ************* I picked up a copy of the Clinton *********** at a grocery store and there was an envelope in the paper that I could use to send a check in and have the paper delivered to my house for a year. The cost was $36. I wrote a check for $40 to include a tip and mailed it in the self-addressed envelope on August 6, 2022. On August 22, 2022, my check was cashed. I have still not received a newspaper. I have sent numerous emails and made numerous phone calls to the email addresses and phone numbers listed in the paper but I have not gotten a call back. At this point, I just want my $40 back. Here are my attempts at reaching out to them: 8/6 Sent check for $40 8/22 They cashed the check September Called the number for Clinton County paper and they could not find anything in the system that they received my money. They will check into.September Called the number for Clinton County Paper. They will check into.10/3 Left message and also sent a text to Clinton *********** ***********/14 Called the 800 number and was told they will take care of it. Refer to 10041014 10/19 Sent email to ********************** no response 10/26 resent the email to ********************** no response 11/2 Called ************** and was told they dont deal with the Clinton County paper. They gave me a St. ***** number of ************* Called ******** and the number was disconnected 11/3 Called ******** and left a message 11/5 Left a message and sent a text to 377-1023 (2nd time) 11/9 called *********************** and left a message. Also called **************. They said they will have someone call me.

      I requested cancellation of our newspaper service multiple times and they are refusing to cancel. This is after that have overcharged me multiple times for service the last several months. Completely unnacceptable.

      We have not received a delivery of the paper (as promised when we subscribed) in 10 days. Every attempt to resolve this issue is met with auto generated responses and nothing gets resolved. *** reached out to us in December 2021 asking for our return business. It took a month back then for service to begin. They should not be advertising a service the can not offer.

      Raised their prices without notification of any kind. Make it nearly impossible to cancel their service while they continue to steal money from you while not delivering your paper. They seriously are the absolute worst in every way; no customer service, unable to actually provide the paper you pay for, the paper itself has shrunk in size do much that ghe sunday edition is smaller than the weekday edition was a few years ago, they don't care at all about any issues raised with them and finally they upcharge for nothing so they can steal more money from you.

      Has charged me nearly double for the past 3 months in addition to failing to even deliver all of the papers I'm being charged for. My subscription rate is $12 and I have been charged $66.24. Attempted to gain assistance with their livechat support who simply told me I was being charged for "Premium Editions" at the rate of $6 a piece and that I was not able to opt out o receiving them even though I never agreed to those terms as my subscription rate is clearly $12 per month. The agent "Amel" refused further assistance or my request to connect to someone else or a supervisor.

      They are absolutely unable to adequately provide a service that they charge their customers for. I have a problem with them at least monthly when they fail to provide me with the paper I ay them for.

      The lansing state journal has shown that they are incapable of proving the delivery service that I pay them for each month. I should receive the Sunday paper every week and am luck to receive it 2 or 3 times per month. This has been an ongoing issue for years now and they have done nothing to correct the issue nor do they seem to care at all about the issue other than to send a pre-made email about how they will address the issue and to tell me the e-edition of the paper is available which is fine however I pay a premium to receive a physical copy of the paper.

      The state journal is completely unable to deliver their paper with any sort of regularity. They offer a service they clearly are unable to provide and when you bring the problem to their attention nothing is done about it. Their go to response for not receiving your newspaper is that they offer a digital version. While the digital version is nice I subscribe to the physical version of the paper for a reason. I get roughly 75% of the papers I should receive and fail to understand how doing something as simple as delivering a newspaper should be so difficult.
