On 11/8 I was scheduled to have my fireplace inspected and chimney cleaned. This worker was very rude when speaking to him and ******* through the whole process. He looked at my gas fireplace and said oh this looks pretty old Im not sure it will work you may have to buy a new I then said okay well before you perform services, can you first check to see if it will come on before cleaning it because I do not want to have to pay for it to be cleaned yet If I cant use it, I would like to see if itll works. He ignored me and continued to work. I then repeated myself again and he told me well just let me clean it first and Ill check it after.I asked him what would be the purpose of you cleaning it if I cant use it and he told me he didnt have time to talk because he had eight more people after me and needed to get going. I then begin to feel uncomfortable with the conversation, and I stepped away. When I returned he was searching around my place for a new socket to plug his machine in as he blew up a fuse due to how much power his machine took, he did not mention it at all. I discovered thats what he needed a new socket for after he was done working, and when I asked him about it, he said oh yeah that has never happened before, but it seemed a little dishonest for him not to have mentioned that this had happened. The job took him only about 20 minutes and when he was done, he started to leave without even checking to see if my fireplace would come on I then reminded him and with attitude he then checked really quick, and of course it did not come on. I told him that i dont feel I should pay for the job because he wasnt able to get the fireplace to work and I told him in the beginning that I wanted him to stop and check it first before the cleaning services and he ignored me. He also started cussing and yelling at me about not trying to pay him, I became frighten because it was only me, a female and him a older male so I paid him so he could leave my home.
