Modern Xterior overcharged me, to repair a small hole in my siding. The initial proposal that I signed stated: they would repair the hole, then come repair the rest of my siding; when the weather changed. They did not honor that proposal & instead only repaired a small hole that was made. My insurance company refused to reimburse me for the repair because they stated Modern overcharged. The entire wall, as stated in the proposal, not the hole repaired; should not have cost what was charged. No resolution could be had with the manager. Her attitude was not conducive to being in the customer service business. They also threatened to put a lien on my home, if the repair wasn't paid in a certain time frame. This caused me to pay out of pocket, when I have home owner's insurance. I am very disappointed & will not recommend their services for any future reference.

Hello ****, Thank you for the review. In response to this review I have to say you were not overcharged as you were made fully aware up front and agreed to the amount given to repair your siding and not for a full replacement. Upon arrival you had missing pieces of vinyl siding on a 2 story wall along with some other loose panels. Due to the urgency of potential water penetration, you were presented with and agreed to a price to repair your siding. Our repair consisted of replacing those missing pieces and tightening up the loose ones on the wall, all the while you were dealing with your insurance company for reimbursement.Modern Xterior upheld its agreement 100% with you and sent over the invoice. In which, you responded to this invoice on Jan. 28th stating that you'll be paying the balance off and would also like to get a estimate on replacing the entire wall to give to you insurance company.A partial payment was made by you towards your invoice shortly after the 28th. However, that's when everything went south. On Feb 9, a phone conversation with you and our office manager transpired in regards to the balance owed. You were very rude and hostile, over talking that person and being irrational because your insurance company (which is a 3rd party to our agreement) was not willing to fully cover your costs or replace your entire siding. I must remind you that our payment is not contingent from any other outside source other than yourself. Because you were not being reimbursed or covered, etc. did you have a problem and then did not want to pay. Unfortunately, there is no rating system for customers at this time so there's no rating that we can the public or any other contractors. I would like to simply say thank you for finally making good on your end of the agreement and paying off the balance in full, we appreciate that. However, moving forward we will not be able to work for you in future. Thank you
